67°F and .06 inches rain.

Some mowing done yesterday, but the side pulley on the BX came unmounted, but not destroyed this time. Of course the screws are missing. And I was about to run out of diesel.

Trip to HD and found grade 8 bolts that should work and nylon lock nuts. Hopefully those will work better. And refilled my diesel.

Might watch some football, depends on what games are one.

Wanted to mow around the pool and ran into a yellow jacket nest ! Poured a bit of gas down the hole and threw a match, they are not happy ! Couldn’t find any spray so hopefully this works !

David, if you put real nuts (Not nylocks), lock washers and bolts you could use blue locktite on them to hold it all together.

Temp 45, wind NW 22 mph. Frost advisory in effect for tonight. Rained all day. So I think you guys know what I've been doing.
The chimney sweep came and did his thing, all good. $100.oo and he is paid.

Scott, when the wasps stop flying I would hazard a guess that they ran out of gas.

I've seen better results from not burning from the initial dosing, but waiting an hour or so and giving it a second dose then burning.
It seems that lighting it off quickly after pouring sucks all the fumes out of the ground and there can be survivors deep in the nest.

Good worship. lunch at the usual sunday Italian place. Tony, the italian owner is a super nice guy and does a lot for the community.
No geo work today, unless it's just to cut the condensate drain line. Every thing else disconnected except the 2 water loops. I loosened the top loop yesterday, and drained some of the water out. Forgot to turn off the valves in the basement and it filled and overflowed the pump tank some.

Now the issue is trying to move the beast, it's very heavy, and sits down in a drain pan. I'm hoping to slide it out from under the outlet distribution plenum pan and all, and then lift it out of the pan. I got it in there by myself, I'm sure it will come out. But, that is tomorrow's problem.

Glad Drew got his leak fixed, and have been enjoying hearing about the trip.

We really enjoyed Wind Cave National park, custer state park, and rt 16a up to rushmore. We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Hill City, I see that is now some
thing different. That's another trip we could have gone thru NW Nebraska, and I went North in wyoming then east to SW SD. Passed another good change to go thru Nebraska.
Nevada is another state I have only been in, in the airport.

Interesting. Of course I’ve discarded about a dozen or so pineapple peelings past couple of weeks.
