TYM 20th series 3rd Fn kits

Looking for feedback on different aftermarket options for 3rd Fn.

• OEM ? Not sure if TYM has one like T474NCUSSM1 3rd Fn kit for 20th Branson legacy models
• WR Long inc kits: VKBRBL200-2 and VKTYBL200-QCP
• Summit Universal kit

That's the ONLY drawback I've found with the 4 digit legacy TYM's, the 3rd function is a 1 button diverter kit unfortunately. I wish TYM would re-engineer them to the 474/574 setup with dedicated 3rd function 2 button setup with hard lines most of the way.

The joistick on my 4820 has two holes with rubber plugs. So I have got a glimpse of hope . I have herd of some OEM kits been made by Precision Manufacturing for Branson. Not sure if this true or not.

WR Long makes a nice kit.
Better than the current OEM which is just a diverter

Call a dealer and was told that BZ00728B kit is going to be great fit to BL200 loader.

Found an old thread on BZ00728B. It looks like the OEM kit is just a diverter that sits on the BL200 loader.

My dealer installed the wrong long kit and said it's a true 3rd function, not a diverter. And it uses the original knob and buttons!

Just for reference. As of Dec 2024, TYM OEM "3rd function kit for New BL200 loader" part#BZ00728B. Has not changed since 2020. It is still just a diverter for a x2 price of real 3F kit from the aftermarket.

Here is the part number for the WR Long live 3rd function, for the 4 range 20 series. pretty simple install - VKBRBL200-2
