Instructions printed too small. Like 3 pages on a business card. You need a microscope to read that !
This belongs in the "You know you're old when..." thread. I also hate the tiny print, but have to admit, it was never a problem before roughly age 40.

BIG pet peeve:

Magazines that keep sending you resubscription notices even though your current subscription doesn't expire for many months (or even years).

My wife's one (and only) guilty pleasure is reading People Magazine and they are terrible about this. Resub. notices every week starting 8 months out. Ridiculous.

On the other hand, Vintage Truck sends just one out when it's time, maybe a month or two before expiration.

Cabela's now requires you to certify that you are 18 just to enter their website. This fall I was looking for a sleeping bag. When they asked if I was over 18 I said no, because I think it's a stupid requirement. I can understand it if you want to go to the firearms section.... Now they automatically boot me off the site.

I know I can clear my history and will do so as I just received a $200 gift card from work. Yet using that is the only reason I will go there.
IMO they aren't the store they were before getting bought out by Bass Pro anyways.

PS; I bought a sleeping bag through Amazon for about 1/3 the price of what I was looking at on Cabela's site before their popup covered it.

Just the usual CYA to keep the legal department happy. I assume it was just an “are you over 18?” pop up, and not something actually asking for certification?

There was a very brief window of time, ca.2005, when I was buying a lot of my ammo (by the pallet, they could fork lift it straight into my pickup truck) at Cabella’s. I also bought one of my gun safes there, when their supplier had a big tent sale in their parking lot. But they’re almost always way more expensive than other options, on almost all things. I guess those fancy stores aren’t cheap to build!

It should say something, when local mom and pop gun stores can sell ammo by the flat (250 shells) for less than the big corporation buying and selling in bulk (5000+ shells)!
