The prices that they listed and the many different kinds of

Snow clearing with a rear blade is a fantastic time to let the wife know you actually NEED that hydraulic top link you've been eyeing...the angle of the dangle is just as important as shoes and gage wheels. Since adding mine, I've been able to skip the shoes and I'm moving very little rock.

Hydraulic top link is like a good set of tractor chains. You will never know what you are missing until you have one or the other or both.

I've changed my mind somewhat. Think I will be getting chains on all four for the M6040. Get them on - get them properly adjusted - just leave them on - year round. There is nothing on my 80 acres or mile long gravel driveway that would be damaged by chains on my tractor.

I've had plenty of experience with ladder chains. Great traction - ride like a COB. I think it will be Trygg chains. I'm going to have to see it there is a local dealer handling this brand.

The 3 brands I am aware of are the TRYGG, OFA, and Aquiline Talons. My last sets have been OFA's as the pricing was a bit better, still high but better.
