3 hrs later and they still don't know the cause. usually they give an eta two to three hours out.

Snow almost over here and up at the cottage. We have a contractor plowing the cottage driveway, but it is getting “full”, and the contractor is telling everyone he will probably bring in the big wheel loaders to push back the windrows. Time to get up there and go at it with my tractor soon!

Meanwhile, the daughter and her boyfriend made it safely onto the boat out of Galveston, and her next stop will be Roatan, Honduras.

Well evening all,
My being lazy and not doing anything went to heck in a handbasket this afternoon,
My boiler low temp alarm went off, so I went down to the basement and hit the reset, it fired right up and was running good listened to it for a few minutes and went back upstairs, shortly after that the alarm cleared. We have one of the grand daughter this weekend and was going to give my wife a break from the child sitting after lunch. Not to be just about finished lunch and low boiler temp alarm again.
I knew that I hadn't changed the nozzle and igniters this fall when I did the filters so back down to too that. The igniters actually looked good and then I saw that the nozzle and igniters didn't get changed last year so going on there third year. Down sized the nozzle this time as I had gotten some more new one last fall when I did quite a bit of work for the farms furnaces and boilers. Pulled a 1.0 gph out and installed a 0.85 gph we will see how it does. Hopefully it can at least keep up if we get a real cold snap and all the circulators kick on as well as the hot water maker.
Finished that and looked out at the rain still coming down and went out to clean the vehicles off, between 2-4 inches of heavy wet slush decided I'd better go a head and scrape off the driveway before all the garbage froze down. So off I went got started and decided well I better push the snow banks over the edge of the driveway before they all froze into ice bergs, so about 4 hours later in the house for supper and a bit of relaxing. Of couse an early appointment tomorrow morning for me so I'll need to be out of the house just after 7 in the morning.

Still getting some strong wind gusts. Camp David recorded 76 mph this afternoon, and the town next door where some of my friends live, 74 mph. Rt15 shut down because of power lines down across it. lots of outages, fortunately we are still on

TBS it was a Generac whole house generator that was installed incorrectly! The exhaust was pointed toward the Bilco doors going into the cellar ! I find it hard to believe that a licensed contractor would make such a glaring mistake !

WOW, I thought it would be something like that. Kinda scarey.

Still snowing here. It should quit sometime before morning. I WILL be plowing tomorrow. I think a couple of neighbours will be shoveling their roofs, one for sure. I'll be needed to pull the snow away. High tomorrow 5F. At least it is on the plus side of zero.

Good evening all. Saturday wx: 32ºF for the start in Saint Louis, overcast with light snow, light breeze. Windy, overcast broke up later in day, and high temp was about 40ºF. some snow overnight. Had a good day at granddaughter's house. Drove to hotel for party which was good. Interesting hotel. Spent night at hotel slept 9 hours. Sunday wx: 25ºF for the start, moderate breeze. Got windy later in morning, and stayed that way most of trip. Some light flurries until clouds mostly gone. High temp was about 26ºF. Made coffee to start day, laptop touch pad went on strike so no posting. Drive short distance to sister's house for breakfast and family get together. Met granddaughter at her work to see all the work she has been doing getting project off ground. They put basement and new foundation under the old part then added another story and on to 2 sides. Final config will include speak easy, lounge/restaurant, cafe, boutique hotel and patio up top. Then drove to Miami OK, will get home tomorrow early afternoon.
