It sounds like from some news of this week that EVS have reached the critical hump to dominate the world and new car sales.

This week Elon musk pledged to double the number of Tesla's produced weekly in the United States over the next 2 years.

But Tesla sales are way off right? I wonder how they plan on selling twice as many when sales are dropping.

Wow. I haven't looked into this thread for months. I've been curious about buying an EV ever since the Chevy Bolt was announced, but so far my present cars haven't given me any reason to replace them.

Daughter bought a new Chevy Equinox, so I just read a few pages here to see if I could learn something new.

I see nothing has changed, the thread continues more as culture war than tech information.

It's possible. My 5184 from USA number came from an April 2023 report, but I found another report stating only 4550 worldwide in 2021 with only 1655 from SpaceX at that time, so it must be changing very quickly.
