I got out in another field with rolling hills and mowed in 3rd, and it did great. I'm thrilled it can manage that, as it saves quite a bit of time. I dialed down on the rpms and set it to the slowest it would go, 7.0mph. Put the pedal down and set the cruise; the load indicator rarely exceeds the 1/2 mark. It's very quiet in the cab, and there is no need to turn the radio up to enjoy it. I question the merits of the transmission, but it's outperforming the JD and prior tractors with similar hp, though the JD did top out just over 23mph in 3rd.

I've said to myself that when the time comes that I go for a cab tractor it would be a Kioti NS, but the more I learn about the Yanmar YT3 the more I consider them. I enjoy hearing others first-hand accounts.
Considering the many reports on it, I greatly enjoyed my NX and never had any issues. But I moved a lot for my work and sold it. The only dilemma I had was the backhoe cost, but the tractor, so far, has been great. I need to upload some of the trees I have dug around and pushed over. I feel comfortable on larger trees with the BH85 than with prior tractor backhoes. I will be hooking up the double-bottom plow soon and will report back on that.

You mentioned working on the hills earlier. One of the least talked about things is how the tractor will almost stop when on hills with the accelerator released. I work with all hydrostatic, gear driven shuttle shift, and i-HMT transmissions and the i-HMT has the best control going down a hill of any of them.
I initially thought how great the a/b mode would be for the steeper hills. But it was not needed at all. I'm still shocked at how well it did. I did not test switching to the lower speed setting while going downhill. It would be interesting to see how it does. I'm often in cruise control and adjust the speed via the black rotary control knob, as needed.
The tractor is still running well, and the wife offered to help with mowing. At the same time, I had other work to finish. She had not driven a tractor for some time. The area has roughly 4/5ft weeds and grass. The cool part is that I went out first and set the speed and rpms for the second, so she wouldn't have to worry about bogging or clogging up. Then she showed her where to place the RPMs for the PTO and mash the pedal and go. BuyYanmar was great today. I had ordered some parts and made a mistake, double-ordering the right sides. I called and explained my mistake, and I would pay to return one and get the left side. They said not to worry about it, and they would send the left link at no charge.
