Yes, I saw that, but forgot to mention it in my post. Thanks for adding that information.Did you see the ban on pot store billboards/advertising they want to implement in Indiana? The reasoning being if it's not legal in Indiana, it shouldn't be legal to advertise for it in Michigan. So driving up 933, for example, you see pot shop billboards in Indiana for the stores up ahead just a few miles in Michigan. However, I believe they grandfathered any advertising that is already in place until its contract runs out. I seem to recall one of them signed a 10 year contract before the ban.![]()
As conservative as Indiana is, especially it's legislature, I would bet it'll be a few years until pot gets any kind of legalization here. Unless, that is, they decide to tax it heavily to get a significant revenue stream from pot sales.
As always, it's all about the money.
