Ford is having a horrible year for recalls. Breaking the record with only about half way through the year. Maybe manufacturers will bunch all the recalls in one year so they can write them off as a loss?

I've had VWs since my first car as a teenager. They have all been excellent. Maybe it is me, maybe I know how to pick them and drive/maintain them. Other folks I know have not had good luck with them. So, yeah, I don't put much stock in YT or other internet opinions. When looking at online reviews, it's more to try and get a feel for the item than to base my decision on the reviews. Especially because they are "influenced" by the vendor or competition.

Wow putting Tesla in as the worst or near worst is not very even handed. How many recalls by Tesla Required actually driving to service centers?

I can say for a Fact after 2 1/4 years the answer for my model Y is 0.

"Some" Tesla recalls were over the air ? Some?

The only things it has needed is windshield washer fluid and winter tires and wheels so I can change them myself. Those OTA recall updates can be done in less than an hour at night while a person is sleeping.

Edit:
They can be done from the owners paired smart phone- requiring maybe a total of 10 seconds to tell the car to install the update.

How many of Ford's recalls require driving to the service center and either waiting there or leaving the vehicle?
