Thanks Kev! I like everything about the Egan pipe, how it runs, how it looks, and how it sounds. No regrets with that pipe whatsoever.

I cant find my times wrote down.

But the Egan pipe on oem was in the high 8's. So almost 2 seconds faster then Farmertec clone 2511 that isnt broken in yet.

@JeepHead was trying to wrap my ahead around why on clone PSS V2 was hair faster then Egan pipe. But not so close on OEM saw.

Thinking was closed port v/s open port and small air filter base and air filter v/s oem.

I totally forgot about smaller carb v/s larger oem carb. But Scotty reminded me of that.

So I check last 4 cuts. I found a little bit of the difference just now on last 4 cuts on clone. Egan pipe was 9" down and 8.25" wide at that point. The PSS V2 was 8.5" down and 8.25" on last 2 cuts.

This is why I always checked on cants back in race days. That was my last one used up.

What's the sound different between the Egan and V2 and do you have to modify for the V2? I may pickup a rear handle 2511.

IMHO the V2 deeper sounding. I didnt have to mod anything.

@JeepHead I'll let everyone know in my group and you here. But some day there is going to be a clone of the 346/353. ;)

Not that I care anymore being I love my echo 501's etc. I'm all set now.

But will make it easier for guy to get parts etc.

It was a PITA to find stuff on that project packrat 346 OE. It is running a aftermarket 44.3mm topend on it testing. Only off of oem time wise by about 10%
If I didnt know it anyone would be happy. Another guy ported one and said they port up good too.

V2 on OEM 2511 shown here. No having to mod cover like clones.

Also comes with screen if needed.
