And some things work better than others, including additives and oils.

The diesel in cold climate areas changes seasonally to have less wax in it to gel during the winter. The only time I've needed an anti-gel additive was when the cold hit hard and early, and I still had summer fuel in the tank.

The diesel in cold climate areas changes seasonally to have less wax in it to gel during the winter.

It's common for me to end up with summer blend in the winter, and vice versa.

A direct result of having a 110 gallon fuel capacity in my 3500 and not driving it often.
