Neither are replies from the minor few who have had problems.
I like to see what I am in for with the DPF. If I want a new tractor I have to deal with it. Any problems within the 5 year emissions warranty will be repaired and recorded.

I replied earlier-I haven’t had any DPF problems or electronics problem in 8 years and 460 hours. If I had the choice, I’d have a tractor without DPF or the electronics-but if you want a new tractor…. I’d like to buy a truck without a push button start-keys have worked for me for over 45 years… You don’t have much of a choice.

I was looking for a pre tier 4 46 HP tractor used and they were either beat or expensive, or high hours. Settled for a used 2015 Kubota L4760. I run it about 1,500 RPM and it regenerates about every 25 hours. I try not to let it sit and idle like I always used to but I'm not OCD about shutting it off every time I get off of it. I've heard the DPF is good for 3,000 regens which works out to about 6,000 hours - which I'll never live old enough to see.
I'm very happy with the tractor and have put about 120 hours on it since June.

Tread lightly and don’t get in a big hurry. With Trump deep sixing the EPA mandated BS, a lot of that regen crap is going bye bye. Give it some time to see how the manufacturers respond.

Not true. Those laws are here to stay unless Congress gets involved.

For what it's worth, I hate DPF's, SCR and all that stuff. Just because the potential is there for costly repairs.
But the other day at my Kubota dealer I was out in the yard looking at new LX's and L's and one of the young mechanics walked by. I asked if he sees many problems with those models and he said no.
And this dealer has a lot of them sold to snow contractors.
About 10 years ago we were in the market for a new RV. We visited several dealers and looked at a number of units. We went home to discuss the ones we likes and my wife called the dealer to see if it was still available.

Instead of a salesman she got a mechanic in the shop. She asked him if the unit was still available and he said “Yeah, we haven’t sold anything in a couple of weeks!”

We went back the next day and got a heck of a deal!

I use my M7060 at whatever RPM I desire, and I do not worry about keeping it up so much like other people do. I am at about 650 hours now.

Scr isn't added to a machine under 75 horsepower. So the only requirement is a DPF. Some manufacturers require the unit to regen to burn off the excess soot.

Other manufacturers run higher exhaust temperatures and don't regen.

Other than the B33xx that had major issues, kubota has it pretty much figured out.

If your not running the machine hard enough to complete a regen, you may need to look through the manual and just plan on occasionally doing a parked regen on your machine.

I do that at work on our large forklift. It doesn't run long enough to perform a regen, so I just do a parked regen on it occasionally to avoid issues.

My 2020 M62, which I bought new in April 2020, has been out of service for 3 weeks with a DPF failure. Just over 500 hours on it, used hard but maintained way beyond what is required (only Kubota oil/filters etc) and only highway diesel. Regens done while working.

Was excavating a foundation when it sputtered and died. Dash said "Warning, contact your dealer immediately". Just got an update from the dealer this morning, said the DPF is bad and they don't know if it can be saved. Big money to fix either way.

It had regen'd the week before this happened, and was sitting at 30% pm when it went down.

Of course, the machine is 3 months out of the 5 year emission warranty period.

Just an fyi.
