Kubota L3130DT
I’m cheap as hell. I have a Kioti ck3510 that I bought used and it didn’t have a PTO shaft cover. I looked online and they’re $20-$40 everywhere. This seems like a really easy thing to make cheap. Has anyone found something that fits but may have been used for some other purpose? Preferably something tougher than a condom.

You're talking about a cover for the stub of the PTO that sticks out the back of your tractor? Why does it need a cover? Never covered any of mine nor seen anyone else put a cover on one.

Is this what you're looking for? These say they're caps for Kubota . . . but since the shafts are all uniform in size, wouldn't these work?

I'm sure you'll grease it up good before the cap goes on.

That’s exactly what I’m looking for, Thanks. Between the rust on the implement and rust on the shaft I struggle attaching the 2.

just put one or two pumps of grease on the stub and spread it all over the shaft = zero rust.

In all my life, I never saw dad grease the PTO shaft or put screw on OEM cap, and I haven''t either.
What I have trouble with is the yoke on the implement rusting inside. I wonder if that's because the PTO shaft is hardened steel and the yokes are cast iron?
My PTO shaft gets oiled when I slide the cleaned and oiled yoke onto the PTO stub.

And then put the cover on so it stays clean. I had never used a cap up until 4 or 5 years ago (I'll be 70 my next BD) and it sure makes it nice when it comes time to use the PTO. Neither Dad nor his Dad (had the local JD dealership at one time) ever used a cap to my knowledge. I didn't know there was such a thing even. I've seen the light.

I went to Lowes and purchased a short piece of 4 in plastic hose tubing. Glued an end cap to and use that. It has work for me 15 years and has never come off.

My 2010 tractor came with a plastic cap. First day i removed it, put it on shelf. Its still there.
