Yanmar SB60R Front End Snow Blower

I can't speak for the Case, but on the Yanmar it only takes a few minutes to remove the loader then about 15 minutes to hang the blower bracket, attached the blower/driveshaft and reconnect the hydraulics.

The drive shaft I'm referring to is one piece, with a slip yoke near the blower bearing and a locking yoke at the PTO. I'm going to try removing it and rotating it 90 degrees to see if anything changes.

Once you get a chance to use that blower on some heavy snow, please throw a quick video up here. I'd like to see the SA425 cast some snow.

If so... where did you find the installation procedure for mounting the snowblower. I am working on the possible deal for a SA325 with the SB52 Blower and a Broom attachment

Even as it's a small CUT, the SA425 has the largest for the rear wheels. The smaller SA models can't use a PHD due to the really small rear wheels.

I purchased the snowblower new so it came with all the mounting hardware, hydraulic lines and instructions. I have the SB60 so it's probably different on the SB52. I've had good luck contacting Yanmar directly with with question like this, it may be worth a try.

PHD is abbreviation for a Post Hole Digger. Your SA425 has the tallest rear wheels in the SA series, so you can attach and operate one. Likewise with the taller snow blowers.

Did you fill the rear tires with RV/Marine pink stuff winterized coolant? This is more pet safe and will not corrode the rims nor degrade the rubber tires. Having this will add to the traction the SA425 will need when plowing snow with wetness.

Thank you for the reply. The deal with the dealer fell through. Somewhat of a part time sales person did not follow through with emails and questions so I told them I will seek a dealer else where or look for a private sale

I did end up picking up a snow removal unit for this coming season. It is a 1995 Simplicity Sunstar that has been gone through according to the gentleman that used it for the past 5yrs or so.
