m8200
I'm trying to id the PB port on my m8200. Attached is a pic of the controller which I'm hoping to replace with a Summit valve b/c the bucket acts like a tilt a whirl ride. None of the ports on existing valve are labeled.
The side ports go to a block near the pump which has rigid lines running to the 3Pt controller. The open center port has a flex line running to the tank.
I have searched everywhere for Hyd info on the tractor. I think the joy stick valve is a Nimco.

I can't see Kubota using a Nimco loader valve so this must be an after market loader. Nimco valves are notoriously problematic and are replaced with something better on a regular basis everywhere. Since the basics are all there (pressure, PB, and sump return) I would suggest you start shopping for a better quality loader valve and change it out.

I tried to quote you Harry but something didn't work right. I've never heard that saying before "Nimco valves are notoriously problematic" but I have had to change out my Nimco valve once already and it's starting to act up again! Very frustrating!
I will take your advice to heart and look at replacing with a different valve when I next need to do so! Greg

Do a search for problems with Nimco loader valve and see how much comes up.

@yardbota How many lines are going into the valve?
If it has power beyond then it should have 7 lines.
*The flex line going to the tank is the drain is A or B. (guessing its A since both have a sleeve on them)
*The line with the blue zip tie D1 and the line with the yellow zip tie D2 are for the same function.
*The line with the clear zip tie C1 and the one below it C2 are for the same function.
So there should be one or two lines left. Can you take photos of them?

I don't mean to be nosy, but what's your point?

Harry, I hope I did not offend you, your posts are great, and you bring great knowledge to the board. There are many members who have benefited from your knowledge and your desire to help others.
I was trying to determine if yardbota had power beyond. If there are 7 lines then it has power beyond, if only 6 then there is no power beyond. This would help him ID what type of valve he needed from Summit. If I am out of line, or posting bad information please let me know.

Hey, I'm not offended, just confused. It's pretty obvious to me he knows it's a power beyond valve and configuration. And as far as identifying lines/ports, in the photo you posted with the letters. B is the pressure port, A is power beyond, and the open port facing the camera is the sump return. Typical configuration for literally dozens of valves of this style. He can find one almost anywhere, Summit included. If it's your intent to assist in that effort, then carry on. As I see it, the system is rated at 17 GPM, which I assume includes steering. That would indicate to me a valve in the 10 GPM range should be fine.
