Kubota L48
I am operating on a Kubota L48 with a Erskine ES2000 snow blower on the front. Occasionally the chute will rotate both directions but currently it will only rotate right. Pressing the buttons on the joystick with activate the hydraulic lines but no movement to the left. Although it was rotating that direction just hours ago. I came across this old thread describing detent (Link). Admittedly I am pretty clueless when it comes to all this and im having trouble understanding the fix this thread is describing although it sounds like it could be my problem. I have checked and cleaned all the electrical connections (although I am not ruling that out), greased the points around the chute, and cleaned/ oiled the chain. Any advice or info is appreciated.

I recall the linked thread

PUSH THAT STICK PAST REGEN DETENT!

although, if you are fitted with electrical redirect valves, anything associated could be the issue.

If it were just the regen function, The function of turning the chute would have been a problem earlier, as it is now. (Unless something has jambed up the control valve lever.)

Hey appreciate the reply. Major tractor noob here. My bucket articulates up and down (load and dump?). it does not rotate right and left. So are you saying to articulate into dump (pushing control lever to the right)?

Yes,

Some Kubota loaders have the control valve default to regen for the dump function. A further push (to the right) actuates a slower "controlled" dump.
At least that's the way the loader on my B2601 works

Regen and hydraulic motors don't get along....

Gave it a try with no luck. Forcing the lever to the right still gives me a quick dump with no resistance in the lever. Although i did find something new. While the blower is engaged my load function (lever to the left) is extremely slow UNTIL I engage the blower cute controls, it then speed up to a normal rate. It loads at normal speed when the blower is not engaged. Any thoughts?
