    Haying information needed

Don't have a mudflap, but I do have a 6' piece of thick conveyer belt that I can cut out a section and make that work.

Yea, that has been a problem. Will be getting a shorter hitch pin next time I get to the farm supply

    Haying information needed

I'll give the mud flap a try, sounds a lot easier than trying to fabricate a belly pan. I just finished baling 100 round bales and the hitch pin is catching the hay and balling it up. Your idea should solve that issue.

    Haying information needed

I just received my new Mahindra 5155 the other day and started using it to round bale on Friday. I noticed when hooking up the round baler to the drawbar that there is only 10" of clearance under the drawbar bracket. This lack of clearance became an issue while baling because the windrow was...

Mahindra 4550 front wheel came off

I do have the parts breakdown and the service manual. I think my frustration was the pricing on the parts. I got the axle apart and found that the 3 retaining bolts that hold the spindle in place snapped allowing the spindle to come out. The three bolt heads stayed in the retaining washer so...

Mahindra 4550 front wheel came off

Well, I started my field repair. I removed the front hub on the axle and found that the three bolts that hold the spindle into the hub were sheared. The retaining washer that holds the bolts from backing out were still in place, so I know that the bolts did not back out. They just sheared for...

Mahindra 4550 front wheel came off

Today I was out leveling a piece of my property when all or a sudden my left front wheel came off. At first, I thought it might have been the lug nuts that came loose, and the wheel came off the rim, but when I looked at the inside of the tire, I saw a splined shaft still attached to the rim. I...

    3550 pst front axle seal.

Sure wish you would of done a video on this. I need to this on my 4550 and I can't find any video or good detailed instructions on how to do this. I have the service manual but it's not very helpful. Does anybody know if there is a video out there on the seal replacement on a Mahindra front axle.

They took about a month to get here, and I've had them on the tractor for a month testing them...

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Mine didn't break while torqueing down a bolt. The ratchet assembly came apart and would not change the direction of the socket. I do admit it is not the highest quality tool but I'm not using it everyday. I only use when something on my tractor need to come apart or tightened. If I really...

    Tie Rod Boots

I tore the tie rod boots on my 4550 and need to replace it. Mahindra wants $150.00 for a replacement rubber boot (ouch) Part L1009100012. Does anyone know of an aftermarket part of an alternative I can use. Rubicon International has the entire tie rod assembly with the boot for $112.00...
