So my Bro-Tek spacers arrived and I just got a break from work to do the install. Didn't get very far :(
Tried to break the bolts/nuts free while it was on the ground with an impact wrench. Makes a lot of noise but no movement. The guy that tightened these must be the big brother of the oil filter tightener.
Any suggestions?

Spray the nuts/bolts with a penetrating oil. Let them soak for a while before trying it again.

Breaker bar with a pipe on it.

Don't complain about having tight wheel bolts & nuts. Pray you get all that stuff just as tight this time around.

I should have mentioned I sprayed them with WD40 an hour before I started. Maybe need more time.

Tractorguy I should have mentioned that was method 1 (mostly). I have a 30" breaker bar but with just me and a 10" extension all I managed to do was slip off the nut. Made me stop right there. I'll rope my son into giving me a hand - less chance of totally rounding the heads.

Rick I don't know if it will be as tight. I do know it will be tightened to spec tho :)

Six point sockets are nice, less likely to round off. Most impact sockets are six point. Probably the best thing I bought that I wanted for years was a 3/4 drive socket set.

Rusted on or painted on? If rusted, there is a product out there that I got at the local NAPA store. Deep Creep - that stuff is amazing. WD40 did not free a nut I needed to turn out. Repeated spraying got me no where. Deep Creep goes on as a foam, interacts with the rust, and goes all the way through the nut. WD40 does not penetrate well, despite the claims otherwise.

How about a star wrench with two cheaters. May need someone to hold the thing centered. Must have used red Locktite so may take heat to loosen.

Only an idiot would put red loctite on wheel hardware. OP just needs a 6 point socket (preferably 3/4 drive) and some real leverage.
