Similar. I would use it for a quick, rough estimate of info...what's the population of XYZ? Also, calculations that are outside of my knowledge base...what's the melting point of magnesium?I view AI the way that I do Wikipedia...
I skip right over it. Especially when it comes to medical questions I want to know the source.
Never ask about anything that could be based on anyone's opinion.
There are things AI could do well, but it needs to be contained. Example: medical AI has been good at reading images and locating things doctors might miss. If that function is locked into a device that only has access to images and no identity info and no access outside its own database, that could work.
Tech peeps want everything interconnected and apparently have never watched a sci-fi movie or read a novel.
