Frozen fill dirt on water line?

This is the repair I made that waited until spring to get back filled & not leaving the water running with just a couple pieces of 2" blue sm Styrofoam and covered the hole with plywood. In the spring back filled to within a 1' of the surface with sand then top soil. This avoided setting.

3-Point Hitch Pulling a Travel Trailer

The draw bar worked well on my 8,000# trailer with a 19HP case tractor. I know have a 27HP & use the 3 point The draw bar is kind of low so I had to raise the ball when I used it. Also it's real hard to see where your going when using the tractor I've considered making up a quick attach mirror.

Making minor repair to a cast (something) park type bench

    Septic System - Infiltrator System

It's got to the point this will be my last year designing and installing systems I dislike all the paper work & we are expected to constantly take up grade courses to gain credits. My expenses to do this & maintain a stamp add close to $1,000 to every system . It's this sort of system that...

    Septic System - Infiltrator System

I have to agree with oosik on the fabric infiltrators are designed so it is not necessary. As for D boxes the only ones I've never had to replace are the plastic ones & I only recommend Polyloc D boxes as they are well built. I cannot add to the good advice as for how they should be placed 00sik...

    Septic System - Infiltrator System

I would definitely go with a D box. I don't have your info for calculating the proper hydraulic loading rate for your field but a level D box with speedy levers so each run gets equal distribution. The chambers are louvered so infiltration of native soil isn't a problem. If the soil is such that...

    RV dump station convenience

Something like this would work good for a dump station no bottom in it and you could back fill with drain rock within a ft. or so of the surface. Often a septic tank isn't in a convenient place to get the RV near a clean-out. It would last many years before needing to get pumped.

    Been working on a mill.

Riding on the upright sounds like a plan you can make something to carry some felt sweepers to keep the track clean as well. I lube my felts with diesel and chain oil mix to keep the pitch off. Round log posts work well because you don't have to lift them out to turn them around for holding...
