Fill your tires to 75%. That takes it up to the top of the rim and still leaves room at the top for expansion & air. And check again on the weight of the mix you have now. I'm sure it is closer to a gal of automotive windshield washer fluid then straight methanol.

Think back a few years to when fuel oil (same as diesel) was the preferred heating source for homes. People had 250 Gal tanks outside their homes and had no problems with them. A simple water filter on the outlet changed once a year should be fine.

Most weight limits on trucks & trailers is performance related, NOT structural. Based on stopping distances & how fast you can climb a hill. You are no where near breaking anything.

Must be a regional thing... When I was growing up, load levelers were coil springs over the rear shocks. We also had air bags that were used for more weight then the coil overs could handle. WDHitches were the next step up.

If your insurance covered being hit by a rock, surely it will cover damage done by repair shop. Notify your insurance co that you are going to have it fixed at a different repair shop.

Scroll back a little further & look at his 8N. It's got a live PTO & one of those three point things that is always in the way. I have NO IDEA why he keeps it.

I would recommend buying a self powered unit. Should be able to get one for under $1k. Run it out of fuel when putting it away for the season and change the oil every 2 or 3 years with no more use then you say you will have. I know I waited far too long before getting mine and that was back...

Did you try reading the manual? Every one I have seen tells you how to work the PTO in or out of the seat.

Why would you think you need diesel oil? Regular 10W30 will work just fine. Change once a year will be overkill but easy to keep track of.

Conventional 10W30 oil and filter change. Tractor will last your lifetime.

Had to remove one from my finish mower gearbox. Ended up heating with a torch. Just remember to regrease everything when finished.
