I use the 7 pin plastic plug or plug adapter for older 4 or 6 pin trailers.

I use a SSQA plate with 2" receiver on the Skid Steer to move an enclosed Cargo trailer. It works good but visibility is poor. Visibility might be better with a tractor, operator further away from the hitch point. In any case you will need a spotter.

I did this last spring on the MX5200. Used a forklift to remove the tires, just slid the forks under the tire, raised that corner of the machine. Put a jack stand under it and then used the forklift to pull the tire off and away. Replaced in reverse order... they were loaded and I was very glad...

I've been experimenting with how often and long my Kubota regens. It definitely does regen more often and for longer when run at lower rpms.

I use noise cancelling Bose BT headset. Very lightweight, small, comfortable, and great sound! I've had these for many years, use with my iphone. I play my playlist or Amazon music.

Need to change a ripper tooth. They are dimpled on. Parts house guy said use a torch. When the dimpled area is red hot pry the old tooth off. The slip the new tooth on, get it red hot and use a punch to dimple it on both sides. Anybody have some sage wisdom to add to that?

Not sure if it was mentioned but for PTO driven mower on HST tractor the best results come from maintaining the proper RPM for 580 mower rpm and the correct ground speed. Turn the mower too slow (not enough engine rpms) or covering ground too fast can result in undesired results.

Did the quick swap method on the Kubota hydraulic filters. No vacuum. Lost about a quart on each filter. Just put new fluid back in per the sight level.

I had a 10w solar panel mounted on the roof my Terex. Never could find the parasitic draw but the panel covered the loss. Note they do produce less when dirty so I would have to clean it occasionally.

I think the LP advantage is that it is twice as long as the bucket. It bridges over and fills dips that the bucket wants to fall into. But - it looks like you did a nice job on this one.

True. You can drive for mpg or you can drive for thrills... I have both types of cars. There is no need for 400 hp to go to the dentist or the grocery store so you can conserve there. And spend those emissions when you need to get your macho on.

I cut my small lawn with a walk behind. It's a 2k sq ft patch out the front door. Good exercise and rewarding to see it nicely cut and trimmed once a week most of the year.

I'm using a quick connect adapter on my mowers. Not cheap but for sure easier.

Crocs look clunky like wooden shoes. I use leather moccasins with rubber soles. For something more substantial I wear Merrill Slip on Jungle Moc. Merrill makes some great shoes and boots

We had a stand of bamboo. It spread out a little further faster each year until I finally had to dig up and remove the root balls to be rid of it.

It's so heavy that if it fails to cut I can use it as a box scraper. :LOL:

Saturday AM brought cloud cover and 10º cooler temps which made working in the barn more tolerable. I got the side skids and front curtain fitted and tacked in place.

I'd have a few choice words for the dealer/manufacturer if this was my tractor. Not at all what is expected. Obviously the parts where substandard or the assembly was incorrect to begin with.

Agreed my 84" flail Is built for 3" max. On grass I have to keep the revs up and the speed down. Requires a headset and tunes.

Mowed the front lawn yesterday evening. With daily highs over 100º I raised the mower 1/2" to allow the grass to take the heat. Taller grass shades the ground better slowing the water evaporation.

I agree that 50 hp is a sweet spot for most acreage properties. Tractors are very capable in this size. I have seen some good looking 30ish hp cab tractors that look very nice. Brotek is what I used, 2" front and 3" rear as suggested by the man who makes them there. The results are a noticeably less unstable machine. Expensive yes. Added stability, yes. I have loaded rears as well.
