    Exploding tractor battery!

Had one blow up in my face when I was a kid....I didnt know any better but my stupid father should have. He was in the loader trying to start it after a boost and I was the one clamping the jumper cables. Apparently there was alot of gas....and BOOM. Acid all over me, my face and clothes not...

    Cheap FEL cylinders keep bending

Isnt that the point? It looks like those suggesting the missing 4 bar link will not only offer more stability but it will shorten the cylinder travel length. I tend to agree that bucket was not designed for this type tractor-it was designed for a skid steer. This setup offers way to much...

    Rear wheel spacers

I know its a bit tight but if you tuck in the chains using bungee cords or rope you do not need spacers. I use chains and I have a 60 inch woodmaxx blower..never needed front chains. Chains are not recommended for steering wheels on almost any vehicle even when they are powered. If you break...

At what point do you justify buying more tools vs making do with what you already hav

Ryobi really is a decent tool manufacturer and they are improving every year. I am a Milwaukee fan and heavy user but even some of the Milwaukee tools are over priced junk just like the Dewalt and Rigid. I can just imagine all the Milwaukee M12 and M18 tools I have being junk in 5-10 years as well.

Its quite simple really-just don't judge me :) It could be worse, I could be a gambler, sex, alcohol, drug addict or even a smoker. Im also a gadget nerd...I need help but one thing is for sure-if something breaks, or needs fix and even needs to be remodeled-I have the tool for it. If I dont...

I have a different perspective on needs...my tractor is 22.5 hp with 19 hp at the PTO. scut ride comfort while mowing, R4 vs turf vs R14

I cannot attest to the R4 or R14 but my GC2410 with turf tires has a better ride than my Husqvarna 24hp yard tractor. I dont use my GC for mowing because it will compact the ground over time and kill the grass. To soften the ride on my yard tractor I did reduce the tire pressure.

In my experience do not use rubber. On a hot day if you happen to park so your tire is on hot rubberized crack it will mold into your tire tread. When you take off the next time it will pull up with the tire and not only damage the asphalt more it will also damage your inside wheel well. I...
