The hoses on the HF unit are standard thread for a/c hoses. Haven't used that type of freon, so I can't help with that one.

A proper weld with penatration, in theory, is stronger than the metal around it. Overloading would cause bending or axle failures if welded correctly. Metal should have torn instead of weld popping apart!

Another good idea is to split a piece of pipe and fit over the cutting edge of the bucket. That way, it'll slide on the driveway and allow the stone to roll over into the bucket. I did this for a neighbor with a paved driveway. Didn't scape up the driveway with the bucket.

They have to have to bottom plate separate to be able to weld it on, or you'd melt the rubber! I used some on a skid steer that had holes on the lift arms.

You just use the top plate and rubber that goes around the hose. Change out to right bolt and drill out threads on the bottom plate if you want to use it also. You don't need it since you have threaded hole on the boom already.

8 ga is a 45 amp wire not 50 amp. I run an ac/dc tombstone on a 30 amp circuit with no issues and have done so for 20 years. Put a 40 amp breaker on that 8 ga and call it good.

Just set up a drip boom. Salt is hard on most anything. Have a main valve to turn on and off and the boom to width needed. Make boom in sections to aid in storage. I'm leaning towards valve lash adjustment. Tools need other than basic mechanics tools would be a feeler gauge which can be picked up at just about any parts store or a HF. Once you have the specs for valve adjustment, pretty simple job. Hope it's this and not anything more involved!

Need to check all safety switches along with the pto switch. Any of these will cause no crank. Neutral, brake, seat switches all in the circuit to allow it to start. Sometimes a faulty pto switch can get melted inside to also cause this to happen. Good luck.

I've displaced the propane with gasoline exhaust fumes. Old timer used the method for welding on oil tanks and such. On 20 lb tanks, I remove valve and let sit upside down for a couple good hot months and have cut in half with a Sawzall. Just do what you feel comfortable with!

That the nice part about it being inflatable! Provides a cushion but doesn't slide around like you would think. They even come with velcro steps to hold in place if you want.

They also make an inflatable boot for between the truck and cap. Had one many moons ago on a Toyota. Worked great with air flow and kept the noise at bay. Hope this helps.

Check the compression on the cylinder not coming up to temp. A build up of debris around the cylinder head can cause head gasket leak. Having spark is only part of the equation. You need spark, fuel and compression to run. Have also seen the decompression Valves stick open.

The other tank is an acetylene plumbers tank, for sweating copper. Yes, you can add check valves. This is the same as a large setup, just portable. As far as your LWS goes, they may or may not fill the tanks. Some won't fill if you didn't buy from them. Are the tanks even current?

That's a different bolt up then either of mine. Mine bolts on 3 bolts near those plates. Here's a pic of the bolts used. It's the bolts with spacers on them. Will get pic of the roll over and then of the mounted one. Hope this helps at the moment.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a tpms tool. Allows me to check the battery, pressure and temp on some sensors! With 3 vehicles, made good sense. Thinking of putting tpms valve stems in the trailer and can do quick check with scan tool!
