    TODAYS SEAT TIME

Finally got some hay mowed these last few days and got 936 bales into the barn yesterday! Only about 400-500 more to fill the barn then onto the easier stuff next (round bales). I double rowed the windrows because I thought I would be round baling most of this but we ended up with extra...

How big of a tine grapple should I consider?

Here are the new model design from Meyers that they sent me. Its only primed photos. Its pretty much between Meyers and Jenkins. Meyers weighs about 400lbs less for the equivalent size. The clamp on Meyers looks pretty beefy but I like how the tines on Jenkins are cut...

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

Sorry, didnt take too many photos. Using older equipment I need to pay attention and listen. Fortunately, I have a backup haybine since my nh 479 blew a bushing on the cutter bar when like 10 passes left. Just unhooked and hooked up to my Nh 469 and 25 mins later I was all done :)

How big of a tine grapple should I consider?

I am looking at a few tine grapples with the dual grapple. Should I be concerned about weight? I have a lifting capacity of 3800lbs at the pivot point on my loader and some of these grapples are close to 1300lbs in weight. I would be moving mostly manure with it and occasionally brush and trees...

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

Well, since rain is scheduled for Monday night, I figured I'd take the little bit of dry time to move 1 of my manure piles to the main pile. I forgot to take before pics of the pile before I moved it. Took me about 5 hours and I got most of what I could with the bucket. Need the manure fork...

looking for 12v fan for rops that can stay mounted in the rain

So I am looking for a decent 12v waterproof fan to mount to the side of my ROPS. I don't want to do the downdraft option that I have been finding and I have been having a hard time finding a fan that I can mount that I can leave on all summer long. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Just picked up my 795DTC (badge says 785 but ID plate says 795DTC) on Saturday. 585 hours but the meter isn't working so I will assume around 700-800 hours. Haven't done much with it just yet other than move 2 round bales and pull a disc and cultipacker a few hundred feet to straighten out my...

    worth the buy?

Interesting. The Id plate has the model as a 795 dtc....so I'd assume it's a 95hp tractor instead of the 85...wonder why the side of the tractor says 785. Parts are the same for both models from what I see

    worth the buy?

https://williamsport.craigslist.org/grd/d/savona-85-hp-tractor/6904275566.html Going to look at this machine. Opinions on price? The Sundowner tractor place that has the website for farmtrac parts does not stock parts for this machine and the lady I talked with said they do not order parts for...

looking for a new loader for my older tractor

So I am looking into the option of upgrading my current loader on my Same Mercury 75 (centurion 75) special 4wd. I have a KMW D-600 loader that was made for a Kubota M7500 Dt according to the manual KMW emailed me. I would like something with more lifting capacity and I started to send out some...

    mahindra 6530

Anything to be worried about with a Mahindra 6530 4wd ( https://www.tractorhouse.com/listings/farm-equipment/for-sale/29528081/2012-mahindra-6530?CTRY=USA ) ? I have a dealer that is 45 minutes away and he said parts take a few days because they come from Texas but that's about it. I assume...

    buying online

How many of you guys have (or know of someone that has) bought a low hour used tractor online from a dealership without seeing it in person? I see quite a few, what look to be decent buys for my price range (est. shipping included) compared to what I have available locally but are 400+ miles...

new holland or case ih ?

So, I am back again comparing a 2011 Case IH 75C and a 2012 New Holland TD5050. The case has been mainly used for cleaning manure and has 4364 hours on it. https://www.tractorhouse.com/listings/farm-equipment/for-sale/29958951/2011-case-ih-farmall-75c?ST=new+york&CTRY=usa The New Holland is...

Possible weak loader or just too much weight?

So I think I may have a minor issue with my loader/hydraulics or maybe I am just asking too much of my loader. I feel for the size of my tractor that the loader is a bit on the weaker side. I have a 5' bucket and itll lift just fine when picking up stone or dirt etc etc. Heaping buckets at that...

Any info on a Case IH 885 before looking?

Is there anything I should be looking for specifically on a 1988 Case IH 885 4wd with loader? I'm thinking of going to look at one tomorrow and they have it listed at 11000. https://www.tractorhouse.com/listings/farm-equipment/for-sale/31503309/1988-case-ih-885 I have been told that the...

    Need help with loader model

I am trying to figure out which model my loader is and was wonder if there was any help out there. I have pictures attached (not the best) and the tags in the 1 photo are just warning labels. I haven't found any other markers on it. From just a quick search I believe it to be a Deutz-Allis brand...

Looking at buying a Kubota M7040

Hi - I am possibly considering a Kubota M7040 for sale. Looks in good shape, loader, 4wd, open station with canopy and asking 18500. 3200 hours on the machine as the ad states. I would be mainly using it for making hay, other small odd jobs and sometimes where I would need 2 4wd tractors(I deal...

Trying to find the best tractor for the job

Just my quick 2 cents on this since even I am new here. It took me 3 years to find the right tractor at the right price. There are plenty of options out there for under 10k, you just need to look hard and check local auctions. The advice I was given from a much older gentlemen was to get the...

    SAME Mercury 75 (centurion 75)

So I took some photos last night to give a better clue as to what I am working with. I think I may just do a straight pipe back and tie it up until I figure out how I want to work an upright into it. This is the space I would have to work with if I wanted to put an upright A better look at...

    SAME Mercury 75 (centurion 75)

I will have to give that a try for the rusted bolts but I do think they are a part of the manifold(I would like to avoid taking this off unless I have too). My wife's grandfather said to just get a wire and bend it the way I want the new pipe and take the wire to a muffler place. He has done...
