It sounds like you need more rear ballast. Either a heavier implement, or something purposeful; I would imagine you want about 1k pounds back there. Also, consider filling the tires- it's fairly cheap weight to keep the machine planted.

A 9 mph top speed in high, but it's got great hydraulics for a machine of it's size. The one large hydraulic pump seems to make things a little jerky, but 3 years in I am well used to it. Overall I'm quite happy with it, and more so I have a great dealer. I checked out a CK3520 not long ago...

There is no cost difference between the two tire options on Kioti's website; I'd push it. Worst comes to worse you go with the Carlisle's you were planning on.

There is no difference between the 2024 and 2025; you may get a little more off the 2024 to get it off the lot, but no guarantee.

My '86 Ford LTD Crown Victoria had a little slot that a metal tab on the bumper jack would slip into. It was my first car, and I used that jack a lot. Looking back, I don't know how it ever worked worth a damn, I'd never trust it now.

Today I used the Kioti to move the dumpster, that's it, and I'm thankful to have this tool.

What about a pine straw rake? They can't be angled, but the tines are extremely light, and they're quite inexpensive.

My wife picked up a set of blades for me, it was the star pattern, this deck takes the S pattern- we returned them to Home Depot and swapped them out. They're real cheap for something so expensive.

I imagine a Deere 2025R, Kioti CX2510, LS MT225S, Kubota B, or any similar sized machine would serve you well in that regard @jacric2005.

I would love to check one out but my Yanmar dealer doesn't have any in stock. Massey is where they tend to lean at lower costs, and the Yanmar machines on the lot are always premium.

These Yanmar TYM's must still get that 10 year warranty, and that might get some potential TYM buyers through a Yanmar door. That's a lot of piece of mind.

That's right, it is a T394; I really do get some of the legacy TYM machines mixed up. It certainly is one of the machines TYM is building for Yanmar, and on their website they really make it look nice.

That Deere is really nice, and plumbed with all the hydraulics. It's got enough hours that any problems should have shown up, but still low to the point of being damn near new. Your patience ought to really pay off, whatever machine you do go with. The options just seem to keep getting better.

It's a great machine, you'll get a lot of use out of the 2620. The Kioti CK can lift a lot of weight for a machine of it's size, be sure to properly ballast your tractor. Have fun, and be sure to post up some photos when your new helper arrives.

God bless the South, that so much of that machine is still intact and clean; up here that iron would have long rusted down to dust.

Well to be fair, the prices between new and used Deere/Kubota equipment could add a lot of accessories. The MSRP of these machines is painful!

If you've got the money to make it work, get the remotes and 3rd function. You'll never regret a dedicated grapple.

Those stone age farmers produced some of the best tasting, if small, produce I've had in my life. The sweetest grapes for sure, which was crazy. Tiny, very small, but so damn sweet. We might call them "small batch," "artisan," but really they just can't produce in large scale.

They're tractors in many parts of the world; the tractors USAID distributed in Afghanistan were two-wheel tractors, they just worked better in the mountains. That said, I always found it a little amusing we were teaching generations of farmers how to farm.

My Honda push mower must be 25 years old or so, I'm certainly not the first owner; I have no plans to replace it unless it really gives up the ghost. It's not something I get excited about, not like the admitted retail therapy that comes with say- a tractor.

35 horsepower is a little small on a machine of that size, but not so much so it should be a problem. Outside of that, it's a low hour, cab, Grand L, it's a Cadillac of a tractor.

You'd be best off finding a compatible Mahindra backhoe if you can, as a 3 point backhoe places a lot of stress on the tractor, and an eMax isn't something that will take that well. I'm all for using the tools at your disposal, just be sure to do it safely.

Bro-Tek has aluminum rear spacers for the RK25 in 2 and 3 inch models. Bora has steel and aluminum spacers for the front and rear.

Hello folks, I tried removing my loader for the first time over the weekend and found I could not lower the kickstands. I've never removed the loader in the 3 years I've had the tractor, and my last machine was a Deere 1025R with their auto-park, so I'm not sure if I'm missing a step or what...

Well, at least in my experience, the grille guards don't dim the light as much as I'd anticipated. It's not like the lights are all that great to begin with; if I was doing more work after dark I would add work lights.

I'm pretty sure that's what my father-in-law has on his 4520, and he has been using it monthly for at least a decade. Storm cleanup, debris removal, digging and trenching, and using it like a makeshift grapple. He loves that tractor, and that backhoe is just one great piece of it.

That's why I made sure to point out that I understand his experience isn't the norm, and I wasn't acting on rationality but emotion. I absolutely understand all manufacturers have their lemons.

There are many commercial grows here in Maine, but they're huge, indoor operations. Only private growers have their plants outdoors, and that's still only a portion.

Have you ever watching this video of Tim haying with a 1025R? It's crazy, very cool to see it work, though it pushed the little Deere around a fair bit.

The loaders on the 3E are extremely low rated, and I'd imagine it's based on how small the front axles are. TractorData gives the 300E a lift capacity just under 1200 pounds at the pin.
