    Cat-0 quick hitch on a 38hp tractor...

That Ford with 38 horsepower will eat your Cat 0 implements. With a Brinley Cat 0 plow I found a Cat 1 frame for it, and pulled it behind my old Deere 1025R. 75% of truck owners tow 1/year or less?

Due to the lower center of gravity, a car is better for round Earth. On flat Earth gravity is a construct and doesn't matter, so lift that truck to the sky and take the tightest corners at high speeds.

    Blinker Lights with Brush Guards

Are these generic round amber lights, or are they shaped? My Kioti uses round ones, and I found guards from small business that fit them. They were advertised for Kubota, but they helped me with the right size. https://www.specialtyrepairscustommods.com/other-tractor-manufacturers-

75% of truck owners tow 1/year or less?

Anyone with their underwear in a knot over what others choose to drive, so long as that driving doesn't endanger others, ought to reevaluate their priorities. If someone does drive to endanger, they ought not drive anything. As for half-ton pickups being cars, one could make that case if cars...

    New SM Series?

It's a common practice in the compact tractor world; TYM is actually the OEM for a few brands. Yanmar themselves built tractors for John Deere a number of years back, and provides engines for many manufacturers.

    New SM Series?

    Bucket hooks

I'm pretty sure these originated from JU FabWorks and the ChiComs copied them, just like they ripped off R2 Manufacturing, who developed the EdgeTamer. Communists aren't people.

    Ignore List

As a Mainer, I suspect when you read something that irritates you, you audibly mumble something slightly passive-aggressive under your breath and carry on with your day. 🤣
  138. tacticalturnip

    Ignore List

You have no idea just how much of a chuckle I got from this, thank you. 🤣
  139. tacticalturnip

    Ignore List

    No one. 🤷‍♂️

Kioti deal or no deal price?

Perhaps you should have read your owners manual; sit on it and spin.

Looks like the Green is moving South

This thread ought to be amusing.
  142. tacticalturnip

    Current deal at Harbor Freight

That's really tempting. Not that I need an electric grease gun, but for that price...
  143. tacticalturnip

Anyone ever make their own buddy-seat? Made one for my Kioti.

Yeah, plenty still that will load them up with sugar and throw money at them too, all things that can lead down a deadly path. Drinking too much water will kill you as well. It comes down to responsibility, with both the adult and the child, something that must be taught.
  144. tacticalturnip

Anyone ever make their own buddy-seat? Made one for my Kioti.

You're not going to stop people from giving children tractor rides by being as abrasive as sandpaper on the internet; personally, I applaud the OP for looking for a relatively safe alternative to just setting his daughter on his lap. Is it dangerous to mix children and equipment, yeah, and it's...
  145. tacticalturnip

Kioti deal or no deal price?

Since I was busting out the loader user manual anyhow... @Redlined0002 Actually, you know who ****** you? You did.
  146. tacticalturnip

Kioti deal or no deal price?

Nope, but I torque them about twice a year, because while these bolts should be torqued down during pre-delivery inspection, that's not always done. None of mine have been lose, but it happens. Kioti didn't **** you @Redlined0002, your dealer did, and from what I've heard you're not the first...
  147. tacticalturnip

Kioti has officially discontinued the NX Line - still worth buying?

What an immature way to handle business; imagine that Kubota doesn't work out, or maybe you've got another tractor purchase in the future, and they just threw that away. You're in Tennessee, I'm guessing I know what dealer you went to; I wonder if it's their policy to kick folks to the curb on...

Echo 2511T is an amazing saw!

https://eganperformancesaws.com/products/echo-2511-pipe They only show this for the top handle, would it just direct the exhaust onto the hands on a rear handle?
  151. tacticalturnip

Echo 2511T is an amazing saw!

What's the purpose of modifying the exhaust?
  152. tacticalturnip

Have we been doing it wrong? High rpm's bad when not needed?

I'm a big fan of my ridiculously simple tractor, even if it is obese and under powered. Like me. 🍻

    Hot dog bun rant

Home made hot dogs? That's awesome; the best hot dogs I've had came from a local sausage place and they were amazing. That sounds like a good time.

    Zero turn fatality

There are many things that could have prevented that, to include the ROPS; while it's a terrible and unnecessary death it's no reason to dictate fixed ROPS. At some point personal responsibility comes into play.
  160. tacticalturnip

    Zero turn fatality

Ayuh, well we don't all park our machines in a barn, and I've smacked the ROPS into my garage enough times to know it doesn't fit.
  161. tacticalturnip

    Zero turn fatality

No thank you, I like being able to store my machines indoors, while still having a ROPS that when up is taller than I am.

Great score on the poles! You should have nabbed some photos of the Yanmar in action.

New Toyota Tundra’s Recalled for Spun Crank Bearing

New Toyota Tundra’s Recalled for Spun Crank Bearing

Every vehicle I've ever owned has started right up, even on the coldest days; if that were such a feat, well, either everything in cold climates would shut down come winter, or we'd all be driving Toyota's. Neither is the case, because modern vehicles are all pretty reliable- for the most part.

    I'm curious about this too.

Kioti has officially discontinued the NX Line - still worth buying?

The NS is an excellent tractor, and one you ought to give a serious look at. If I were going larger than my CK, that's where I'd go; of course, that's just my thoughts.

Millimeters? What is that in elephants? Or Toyota Corollas?

    New equipment

That's a real nice setup; great machine, good attachments, you're going to have a lot of fun getting things done. It's mounted there on cab models; on the open station the SMV sits to the lower left.

I wouldn't touch an NX; hell, my dealer won't even sell them.

Stretch work pants for bigger guys

Since I got tagged in here, lol, I'll chime in. It used to be that I had two options; whatever J.C. Penny had in stock, or when I could make the trip to Portland, I'd grab some things from DXL. The DXL stuff is nicer, but you're paying for it. With the advent of the internet I've started...
  179. tacticalturnip

Do any of y'all seal, wax or ceramic coat your tractor??

I don't even wash my truck these days; when we had a paved driveway I'd wash my truck almost weekly. Then my wife started to complain I liked my truck more than her, so I stopped washing it. That was about 15 years ago. Now, well, this dirt drive doesn't lend itself to cleanliness.

    New Kubota Corrosion

My father-in-law lives right on the ocean, and his roughly 15 year Deere 4520 doesn't have corrosion remotely as bad as this year-old Kubota. This is subpar quality control, and it's ridiculous to see anyone acting like this is normal.
  184. tacticalturnip

    New Kubota Corrosion

Oh yeah? You think that doesn't happen? Is it odd to you that a company should deliver on the promise of quality in the products they sell? Just because you're willing to settle for subpar quality at inflated prices doesn't mean anyone else ought to.

That's fairly hefty, about what a residential lawn tractor weighs. If I recall, you said it had 6 batteries? That must add another 100 pounds.
