Finishing up the soffits on the GGG, most of the building was built from trees off the property except the plywood on the roof, and on the soffits. Time for siding. No better way to slice plywood than one of these! Soffits done And my helper, she is on furlough due to the pandemic.

I see your guys pics of trucks with logs all the time, here is what logging looks like around my neck of the woods! These are most likely pulp logs , but they have the saw logs also. You cant drive anywhere without seeing a few of these trucks.

We got 3 1/2" of rain.. Killed a game cam I had down in the bottoms, it was strapped to a tree above my head. This is a normal picture from it, look where the rope is tied to the tree, that will give you and indication of how deep the water got! Here's the last pic it took before going under..

So on your loading the logs on to your log deck, seems like it would be a pain to get them to the mill from there stacked up like that. I always just load them to my log deck single layer so I can just hand roll them to the saw..

Cutting some 16' core centered 6x6's to eventually support the roof over my sawmill and build a 2 story shooting bench/deer stand.

I sticker mine about very 16-24 inches and keep the stickers lined up.. but I'm pretty new at this. I also ratchet strap my piles to keep them from warping too bad, seems to work for me.

Yeah, I've got a bunch of oak and hickory drying for a new set of kitchen cabinets.. Hoping its dry enough for this fall/winter. Need to run some through the planer and check it.
