Many dealers use students and young kids to do the assemblies and PDI's. Which is fine, but somebody experienced should check their work. My Kubota had a stripped bolt that wasn't even turned all the way in. I had to replace the bolt and chase the threads.

I wouldn't sweat the loaded tires too much. Sure it would help, my B2620 is not loaded and I have done a ton of work with it. But I always have the backhoe or some implement on it. Then take it all off and it's light for mowing.

And as others have said....if you can learn with a short trailer, when you get a longer one it will be even easier. Try practicing with a tractor or atv with a little cart trailer. Once you get that mastered you will be able to reverse any trailer.

What kind of truck do you have? If it's a Ford try using that Pro Backup Assist. Then you can watch the steering actions until you get used to it. I never use it because I have drove tractor trailer for over 37 years but I did try it once in my yard and it was hilarious.

We just got about 8 inches of powder, now it's just like a light misty snow falling. I love having the RTV to do a nice fast plow. Once it's done then I'll take the tractor out and blow the banks away.

Around here, that would sell for the same price you paid brand new, minus maybe the tax. My dealer told me when they take trades they actually look at the original sales invoices so that they don't give more than the customer paid new.

I'm just going out to plow now. But we didn't get nearly the amount of snow we have ever got before. Seems like it is all going stateside this year. Lake Superior is still all open as far as I can see, but the winds seem to keep blowing all the lake effect snow south this winter.

I'm bummed out I missed that Massey 1635. It was overpriced (same as it was new back when it was current) but 30 grand cheaper than I can buy a new cabbed 35 horse tractor for now. And no emissions garbage.

My thoughts exactly! I've seen too many vehicles burn from a battery shorting out, or from bad winch contactors on ATV's. If you do put living quarters in your shop/garage make sure you have a good fire detection and escape plan in place.

My dealer is Deere and Kubota. I asked if Deere took a big jump and he said no, Deere does small increases. He was shocked by the jump Kubota took. And he certain Deere models are now cheaper.

No, the M8 is Cummins and is the Nemesis. The M7 is the largest of the Kubota engines and the tractor is all Kubota designed and manufactured.

Ya, I really like Massey's and Sisu is also an awesome engine. But around here all our Massey dealers disappeared even though it was all MF tractors in this area back in the day. There still a LOT of old Massey's at work here. For some reason Agco only wants to push Fendt in North America now too.
