New PTO generator and 3pt carrier

I bought the Genny last year and made most of the carrier last year but waited a year to paint it. I have finally learned to not be to quick to paint because I often want to modify things after I try them out. Genny is Voltmaster 12k.

    New Brush Bull

Just picked up a new Woods Brush Bull 60. I won't be using it anymore this year since the snow is ready to fly but I couldn't pass up the deal since the dealer was looking to get rid of 2013 inventory. I won't miss my old light duty Howse flying apart all the time.

    1965 Round Fender 110

Gentlemen, I found a nicely restored 1965 Round Fender 110 close to me on CL. Looks like a great restore and I have always wanted one. I am just not sure what they are worth. I think it is missing the deck. What should I be looking for? Was there different options in 1965 or just a...

Isn't there any just 5/16" load binders?

Gentlemen, can some tell me if there is just a 5/16" lever/over center load binder? All I can find is 1/4" or 3/8". Both will work with 5/16" chain but I was hoping to find 5/16" because the others seem a little small or big.

Trailer rebuild- a summer I will never get back.

So, I am sick of borrowing trailers or not having one when I need it and I have been scouting for a decent used tandem to haul stuff. The problem is that not many people ever part with these things. I eventually seen something that looked my speed on CL and went to have a look. Needless to...

Used Ford 907 Flail Mower questions

Gentlemen, my buddy has a used 6' 907 flail sitting behind his shed and I was going to see if he wanted to sell it. I hooked it up the other day and greased everything and siliconed the belt, plus looked everything over since it hadn't been run in years. It is starting to rust pretty good...

Polish Lawn Mowing - No Joke

Ok, I just got back from a work trip to Poland. Very nice country that is very westernized and they love the USA. However, they have the strangest approach to lawn care. In the entire 4 weeks I spent there this spring I didn't see one "regular" lawnmower. What they do is let the grass...

New X749 with 54C deck has terrible cut quality

Gentlemen, I have had my new 2012 X749 with 54C deck for 3 months now and I notice that I was very disappointed with the quality of the cut. Mainly because the deck didn't seem to be producing enough lift to pull up the grass that the front tires pushed down. So the lawn just looked terrible...

John Deere 3520 Air restriction light check

So I go to do the 400 hour service on my 3520 and the owners manual calls for a person to block the air intake and run the throttle all the way up to check the air restriction sensor. When you do this it should set off the air restriction indicator light on the dash to check to make sure the...
