The nice feeling of not buy Chinese tools.

You have a point there, Hungary is not the best political environment, it will be interesting to see how they handle the Ukrainian war, before the war they was very pro Putin, a lot of the more fare right political movement got in to hot water when Putin fired up the Russian war machine.

Not, I'm not arguing against that China doesn't produce quality, it's more of a wish to support western industry. When I bought my van I dropped those that produces in Turkey, no need to support that regime when I could support workers in France.

Is the quality low or are the parts Chinese? This is the green Bosch and not the blue pro line, one fine thing is that there are parts support from Bosch, I do like to repair if possible.

Is it true Terramite went out of business?

Well, it have happened to all smaller manufacturers, they can't compete on technology and quality, excavators are mass-produced on a almost car like fashion, here in Europe we had a ton of smaller manufacturers, with a exception on wheeled excavators few survived the mostly Japanese attack on...

MF 135 3 point link wont lift with weight on

Yes, would disassemble the toplink, did it on mine with the same symtom, but ended up removin the bolt on so I could move the draft control a few centimetres more, suspect I'm missing a roller inside the hydraulic cover.

    Exporting tractors to France

In the landscape around me a winch is almost a must, have been using winches like this when the tractor is on the road and the tree is in such steep terrain that it takes off down the valley side when cutting, a bit different work technic but more fun and more exercise ;)

    NH T4.75 Hydraulic plug location

I know but it's quit common on to have a third free return to handle things like hydraulic motors and other equipment that have to have no return pressure, I'm quite sure you can buy this kit and at least there must be a plug for this.

Why is Weight The Only Solution Being Offered To The Problem Of Traction?

Heavy weight is a friend and a enemy, today heavy agricultural equipment packs the soil and damages growth and drainage. Not easy to solve as farming today is cost and volum focused. There are projects that focuses on light equipment in combination whit automation, swarms of machines that...

Why is Weight The Only Solution Being Offered To The Problem Of Traction?

If you are in to farming then this type of wheels is way to rigid and stiff, radial tires with low pressure gets much better grip in soil. Most of the smaller tractors are very price sensetive in combination whit very conservative buyers makes new technology hard to sell.

Truck rant. And don't know what to do.

On my small van the first oil hange was at 50000km, then every 40000km, it's a small diesel engine, today's engines are incredibly much better made, had a few Nissan 720 and D21 gas and it was something all the time, they had pointers, bad carburetors etc so the world moves forward and nostalgia...

Truck rant. And don't know what to do.

Nissan have had moments but the ordinary models have not been to good, in the nineties they had the Primera with a excellent chassis, that was replaced with a new that was a simpel and bad design, it was not conservative but with a very ordinary chassi. The Micra was a hit until they tryed to...

Well, the current design of tractors don't really reflect that it's made for heavy lifting at the front. Then all tractors would have been articulated as it should have been for front loader work.

    Kioti Broken in Half

Well, the price war makes it impossible to make it a better loader tractor, a hydrostatic motor in each front wheel would make it much easier to make a strong enough front axel, hydraulic stability control of the pivoting would greatly improve stability and so on. They could made them...

On of the fine things with modern engineering is the fact that you can shave of all unnecessary materials, fine if you make aircrafts and things where this is very beneficial, on tractors not so much.

    Kioti Broken in Half

The early 1900 design of tractors are bad, it's just strange that the world does not going forward, Class xerion is a interesting design and when we get rid of mechanical power train we might get more modern designs.

Backhoes are as also a bad design, it does not do anything real good, it's a very bad excavator and a bad wheeloader baked in to one machine. The picture is a better backhoe

But it should not lift more than it can handle, maybe he adjusted pressure valve on the loader. Or it took off an had a lucky run down a hill with a stylish jump at the end ;)
