I just bought an Echo 2511t clone for $99. What was I thinking?

I got mine today after the post office lost it for about a week! Scott at Hockfire saws was great to deal with, refunded my money then the saw showed up the next day, I had to resend $$! Anyhow seems like a nice unit (not started it yet). Very small and light, smaller and lighter than my little...

So I ordered mine today! And I’m going to blame it on “airbiscuit” because he’s where I saw this first ! Thanks alot, like I really need an eighth saw!

I just bought an Echo 2511t clone for $99. What was I thinking?

So you call it Farmertec, but he calls it Joncutter… so which is it or are they the same? Got a link for the seller? I don’t really need another chainsaw, but I’ll gladly waste 100 bucks on a less than 6 pounds saw that works good.
  8. hunt4570

Echo 2511T is an amazing saw!

Well, I dont “need” another chain saw but I love my Echos, I have a C301 top handle I have had for many years and a 501p that I’ve had for just a few, but this guy sounds nice!

    Offered another unusual project

Question for you about the other ponds on the property, where do they drain off at? Where’s the overflow? Is there any? Maybe you could cause them to overflow towards that pond?

    20 inch chainsaw recommendation

I own Stihls and Echos, for the size you are looking for I would suggest an Echo 501p. Yes its a pro saw but light in weight with tons of power.

Thanks for the help guys, So here is exactly what has happened this time around. Been using the tractor and it was working fine. Bleeding fuel system, what am I doing wrong?

Bleeding fuel system, what am I doing wrong?

Kubota 3540 diesel.. Ok, my manual sats when I need to bleed the fuel system, I need to open the breather valve on the fuel pump, start the tractor and let it run about 30 seconds then shut the air release valve. So I do exactly that and it will run for about 30 seconds or so and then die, and I...

Looking to buy my first tractor

I agree I am lucky to have a dealer that cares, heck they even did a "house call" once to work on my tractor in my garage and didn't charge any extra for it.

Looking to buy my first tractor

So I have 100 acres here and a 37 PTO hp 4-wheel drive Kubota and it does just fine. I move some pretty big logs here and there as I also have a small saw mill. Make sure you get 4 wheel drive, and a front loader. I change the attachments on the front more than I do the rear! Bucket, grapple...

Anyone go from gas to electric, then back to gas?

Yes, this was you... I'm a homeowner with a 16 acre property. Last summer I bought EGO electric power equipment, including a ZTR mower, leaf blower, and weed whacker. I also own a New Holland 33HP diesel tractor with a flail mower attached, a Stihl chainsaw, and a Stihl weed wacker (string...

Anyone go from gas to electric, then back to gas?

You keep on stressing that it "emits no fumes" while that might be correct for when you are actually using it, but its fumes come from the power plants making the electricity to charge those batteries, and all the mining and processing needed to make those batteries. Yes, I like my battery...

Anyone go from gas to electric, then back to gas?

I'm retired and no longer have to work all day with stuff and over the years have slowly gone electric on a lot of stuff, ALL my battery powered stuff is either Dewalt or Makita, proven tools of the trade(s). I have Dewalt pole saw, hedge trimmer, weed whacker,12" chain saw, blower, 21"...

When it's HOT out and I'm mowing a flat field, I'll sometimes raise the bucket a bit for better airflow to the radiator, not sure it really makes a difference, however.

    Stupidity with my Kubota 3540!

So I had called the local Kubota dealer and talked to their head mechanic before I saw the post up above. He said to set the pump to bleed , open the throttle wide open and crank it, it took a bit but finally got it running. Hope I'm not so absent-minded next time!! And thanks for that quick...

    Stupidity with my Kubota 3540!

I picked up a new fuel filter and cleaned the outer air filter and reinstalled them both. The manual says to open the airbleed on the fuel pump and open the petcock for the fuel bowl/filter (I have done this many times without issue) Today I went through the bleeding procedure but, here's the...

So when I first bought this property it was almost all woods with some trails, I wanted a mower that wouldn't stick out so far behind my tractor for the tight turns on the trails.
