    I have low, low hour L5450 with a Bradco hoe, without looking, it has somewhere around 500 hours. Barn kept, a beast and my favorite tractor. Low hours due to being on a remote property. That 5 cyl engine is SMOOTH and never needs glow plugs in our marine climate (down to 15 F).

    We are in our summer lull right now. The travelers won't be back from Canada and Alaska for a while yet, the resident's young are out of the nest and there is plenty else to eat. It takes a few days to go through a quart of food at this time of year.

    Yes, the balls give you up and down if you are using an FEL, in addition to side to side. Not as important if you are hooking up to the same pickup receiver as when you unhooked the trailer. On a FEL, fork frames with a built in receiver as Slowpoke has sure are convenient.

    Many of the after market rollbars are no longer available. My understanding was that lawsuits largely shut that business down due to lack of testing and lost lawsuits.     My old L5450 hydraulic shuttle with an Everclutch does not roll when shut down. I have always assumed the clutch was engaged because it doesn't roll. I have never needed to pull start it, it always fires right up, even without glow when below freezing.

    I have never had terminal corrosion with an AGM battery due, I assume, to the gel not being fluid instead of liquid seeping up past the posts. That makes AGMs worth it right there to me. Not sure exactly why I don't have corrosion with AGMs, but actual experiences do not lie.
