    I was looking at LS until I started digging into all the ECM issues and how poorly they are responding to them...LS basically doesn't...they tell you a regen every hour is "normal" and screwed up ECU are constantly denied warranty claims.

    Thanks everyone. Finally figured it out...the manuals are of no help. Turn the chute over and carefully look at the bottom...then look at the ring...you have to "slide" the chute on from the front to get the lip to catch under the plastic AND metal ring of the blower.

    Sounds like LS is very hit and miss...with the ECM control being a very real roll of the dice both short and long term. We will keep fighting with TYM to get a tractor back on the farm rather than sitting in the shop. Thanks all.

That 6000 is a beast! the 4060 had a 1055 and the 6000 a 1065 loader...there was a HUGE difference in the amount of metal in the 1065...way more than the 22 lb difference in lifting the...

    I did some price checking...still pretty expensive compared to the T494..no free loader like LS etc...way more HP so really in a higher class of machine. Like you say rear remotes cost more, loader costs more, no rear 3 pt control outside the cab...i do like that it is not turbo charged though...

    The LX is so small and has 1/2 the lift capability of the T494, not really apples to apples...the 3 point doesn't look like it can support anything.

    In all honesty, the only real step up in build quality I think is to get the equivalent Kubota which is a 4760 with cab and 1055 loader...and that is not $10k more...it's nearly double the price.

    Back in Texas I got a chance to sit in a 4820 CH and it is definitely tighter than the kym version. Also while the tym has a three color paint scheme I noticed the 4820 only has the single color of red everywhere inside the wheels on the steps. I'm happy about our decision to go with the 494 now...

    Thanks for the pics clover...I keep reading these reviews of the loader handle on the 494 snapping off in cold weather or when hit upon exiting the cab. That issue seems to be a non issue on the 4820 given that it is mounted in the side console off the floor...man Torvy...that is a lot of tractors!

    Well that brings up another interesting point. While I've got half a dozen dealers within 100 miles of me that have t494s. There is only one dealer 250 Mi away that has the leftover 2022 Branson. Makes me wonder if they're not going to keep making the 4820 Or if it's just going to go away.
