Thank you for the tips and ideas... I have a pressure tester coming tomorrow so I'm going to check my pressures to confirm that the hydraulic pump is giving me sufficient pressure and then play with the mower deck /3 point Lever to see if that changes anything

Yeah I did notice there's two locking nuts on the rod that connects to the three-point hitch lever which is also tied into the mower deck. No kidding! Lol The company surprisingly enough has a used case so with all new parts it would still be a few hundred less then a dealers new one. I guess it probably wouldn't "technically" be rebuilt then, unless they use the top piston/springs assembly.

Actually the gentleman I spoke to at hydrogear that has worked there for over 20 years told me all I need to do is get the part number off of the HST and give it to him for the replacement. :) Definitely don't need 10,000 of them lol! I will keep you posted and send pics! Thanks!!

Yes the whole thing sucks as mentioned Kubota wants $2,100 for a new HST. That's why I am looking for an aftermarket one and do not really care where it comes from lol... I'm not sure how the parts got out but I will definitely post pictures as soon as I assess the damage. Thx!!

Hey Randy, Actually just one spring bent in half but nevertheless the damage is done. Looking to forward to learning more about it as I take it apart. Was hoping someone has one out and could get me the Non Kubota HST part number.

Definitely not an adjustment and blew out. Oil gushed out the bottom as well as that is a piece of the casing.

I have learned learned this since then. The tractor was/has definitely been in low gear (turtle) during this ordeal. Confirmed many times the park pedal was off also. Sad part is the rear wheels wouldn't even spin or "peel out" like if one was stuck.

Yes, the spring does seem to fit inside that piston. I believe its one of many pistons under the swash plate but new territory to me.
