I must be missing something with the 2 speed/ 3 speed hydro? I test drove the CX and the CK and thought the 3 speed hydro was on the order of my old gear drive machine with 3 gear ranges with the lowest range pretty much never used.

Nice add ons are the telescopic 3 PT arms, linked pedal, block heater. Ultra nice add on is the cab. If you have any thoughts of needing a grapple or power angle snow blade in the future then also 3rd function. Love the R14 tires over the R4 tires

I don't think you would have any problems with a 54" and you would cover the tires. Even if its tough going you could incrementally increase the depth with each pass. A 48 or 50 isn't going to cover your tracks. An offset able model would cover one track and limit you to tilling in one direction.

Just got done using a 48" offsetable tiller the CX just plays with it. If I were to get one of my own I'd go with a 54 or 60".

Funny you bring that up as we have had 3 S Korean vehicles over the last 20 yrs. I find them to be a good value and don't even shop the big names anymore.

Did a similar thing, priced a Kubota 2601 open station with a loader, bought the same size Kioti with cab, air, heat, and loader for 2 k more.

When you have a backhoe you don't have to dig with the loader bucket. Also have a box blade with teeth. No need for a tooth bar here.

The 5020 has a fill plug in the transmission cover, fills the transmission and the axle. The strainer is on the right hand side of the rear housing.

Meh, don't let a poor salesman frazzle you, I had a similar experience when shopping this go round also. Both the Kubota and Kioti sales people were extremely sub par, but both dealerships as a whole from experience are solid as are their machines.

Weeds and rocks were my enemy in the garden but no longer! Weeds, I mulch everything soon after the ground is prepared in the spring and keep it replenished during the season as needed. Might need to hand pull a few weeds but for the most part weeds are no longer a problem.

I have the same issue, the BX hydraulics are so slow compared to the CX. 50 hrs on the CX and haven't developed the muscle memory that I have with the BX although its getting better.

If there is one thing I despise its the bottom filter setup. The major issue for me is there is no shut off valve and the hose is so short its is difficult to pinch off and have room to remove the clip and filter without wearing an abundance diesel.

Cab, yes I didn't mention both machines were cab models. I figured out why the up charge was so much they were quoting a CK20 series and not the CK10 series.

Yes many improvements since 1983 when I bought it new. Power steering and HST trans are great for my application, we got spoiled with the purchase of the Kubota BX23s.

I drove both CX and CK at the dealer, the CK was a very nice machine! I liked the wider stance and it had a few more bells and whistles than the CX but the 5k up charge is a deal breaker and I think its bigger than I need.

I'm looking to upgrade from an AC 5020 and a CX2510 looks to be fairly comparable on the spec sheet but I don't see alot talk on this model here or even ytube other than dealer vids, any owners out there with a review on their purchase of this model?

Pretty steep dump angle shouldn't have issues getting material to come out.

Pretty much ready for testing. The goal will be able to dump 3 bucketfulls from the BX of dirt or rock. We will see.
