DIY Kioti Tractor 50 and 200 Hour Master Service | CX and CK Series | Your Tractor Is 35hp!

More power would be a good thing especially when using high range but I have to wonder if something in the drive train would fail prematurely?

From a Kubota B2601 to Kioti CX2510. Am I nuts?

I must be missing something with the 2 speed/ 3 speed hydro? I test drove the CX and the CK and thought the 3 speed hydro was on the order of my old gear drive machine with 3 gear ranges with the lowest range pretty much never used.

    CX2510 add ons?

Nice add ons are the telescopic 3 PT arms, linked pedal, block heater. Ultra nice add on is the cab. If you have any thoughts of needing a grapple or power angle snow blade in the future then also 3rd function. Love the R14 tires over the R4 tires
  4. J

    3rd function

I was quoted just south of 1K at time of purchase.

    Kioti ck2510h code 22

I'm curious as to how you have a code when your machine doesn't use a computer to monitor the engine? Watching for responses as my CX uses the same engine.

    Cx2510 tiller suggestions?

I don't think you would have any problems with a 54" and you would cover the tires. Even if its tough going you could incrementally increase the depth with each pass. A 48 or 50 isn't going to cover your tracks. An offset able model would cover one track and limit you to tilling in one direction.
  7. J

    Cx2510 tiller suggestions?

Just got done using a 48" offsetable tiller the CX just plays with it. If I were to get one of my own I'd go with a 54 or 60".

    CS2220 vs CX2510

Oh definitely the CX, I have a Kubota BX23s and a Kioti CX2510, the CX just plain out works the BX. Ground engagement tasks both have enough engine but the CX has the weight. Loader work the CX has better capacity, lift height and speed. Pto tasks are somewhat even, however I use a 6' RMF on...

    Tiller size for a cx2510?

Gonna have to cover the tire tracks, offset 4' or a regular 5' should be fine for most soils with a CX.

    Tractor shopping

Funny you bring that up as we have had 3 S Korean vehicles over the last 20 yrs. I find them to be a good value and don't even shop the big names anymore.

    Tractor shopping

Did a similar thing, priced a Kubota 2601 open station with a loader, bought the same size Kioti with cab, air, heat, and loader for 2 k more.

Why don’t you own a toothbar?

When you have a backhoe you don't have to dig with the loader bucket. Also have a box blade with teeth. No need for a tooth bar here.

    Im back after several years...

Nice machine, enjoy! I like my BX23S but in comparison the Kioti CX ( similar to the Kubota 01) is a beast.
  14. J

    Kubota BX backhoe questions.

To answer the questions, yes you can move further while digging a ditch without leaving the seat, simply shift the transmission into neutral once you get positioned and push yourself forward with the hoe. As far as swapping the hoe out, on a BX 23s takes very little time and effort to do...

    Kubota L3200 snow removal

First season with a homemade ssqa plow and it works great! I have always used frame mounted plows. Also plow alot of gravel and bolted a 2" pipe to the cutting edge and removed the shoes, this works well in a dry snow. I didn't slice the length of the pipe but rather welded tabs to the pipe...

Lawn mowing with your CS/CX. Loaded tires or no? Mid mount or 3pt? Flail or Finish mower?

Out on the lawn I prefer a lighter machine. The sub cut and cut tractors stay out on the "tier 2" grass. I have well drained solid soil but I get what I call compaction ruts from weekly mowing with the heavier machines. I run 3 PT finish decks, I have a 5' and a 6', the BX R-4's aren't...

Multiple threads no clear answer CK/X2510 engine vs CK2610

Now I need to check my CX engine tag and see if it is also uses the larger displacement engine, the owners manual states it has the 3A165LWH-U3, 1647cc/87cu and for kicks I ran the 1647 through cubic inch converter and it states 100.5 not 87 as the manual states. I had investigated the smaller...

From a Kubota B2601 to Kioti CX2510. Am I nuts?

Meh, don't let a poor salesman frazzle you, I had a similar experience when shopping this go round also. Both the Kubota and Kioti sales people were extremely sub par, but both dealerships as a whole from experience are solid as are their machines.

Need some help with the weeds

I'm at 20x50 currently and I will use anything organic for material. The material I have the most of would be grass clippings, I've also used chopped up leaves, chopped straw. I never run out of green growth and if I would I have a few neighbors who wouldn't mind me harvesting some of theirs...

Need some help with the weeds

Weeds and rocks were my enemy in the garden but no longer! Weeds, I mulch everything soon after the ground is prepared in the spring and keep it replenished during the season as needed. Might need to hand pull a few weeds but for the most part weeds are no longer a problem.

From a Kubota B2601 to Kioti CX2510. Am I nuts?

According to the owners manual hydro low range 0-4.455 mph forward, 0-3.120 reverse @2600 rpm. High range 0-12.545 mph forward, 0-8.780 mph reverse @ 2600 rpm. I test drove a CK model with the 3 range hydro and came to the conclusion that low range was kinda like my old gear drive machine, a...

    Those with CX2510's?

The CX has what I believe is called live pto and to engage one must depress the left pedal to disengage a clutch and then shift the pto into gear whereas the Kubota has independent pto allowing you to engage "on the go". The CX setup works like a live pto but only because its a hydro...

    Those with CX2510's?

I have a little over 100hrs of seat time in the CX and it does not feel tippy in stock form in my opinion, now my BX that feels tippy stock and I did add spacers to it. I didn't see the point of the 3 range hydro as low seems like a creeper range and other than tilling I don't have a use for...

New cx2510 cab or used ck2610 cab?

Just went through the same process earlier this year, came home with the CX cab. I added linked pedal, telescopic 3pt arms which came with pin type stabilizers, block heater and loaded R-4 tires. I test drove both, I saw no real advantage to the 3 range hydro for my usage, at 56" wide it would...

CX2510 HST Overly Sensitive Joystick Valve

    Looking into a CX2510

I have 4 acres of grass with three trees, no need for a grapple here. About the only thing I could use a 3rd function for that I can think of would be power angle on a snow plow on the loader. I'm not sold on the loader/plow setup, I have always used a dedicated snow plow it makes for a...

  39. J

BX Move the fuel filter without a kit?

If there is one thing I despise its the bottom filter setup. The major issue for me is there is no shut off valve and the hose is so short its is difficult to pinch off and have room to remove the clip and filter without wearing an abundance diesel.

    Looking into a CX2510

    Looking into a CX2510

Would the Kubota LX2610 and B2150 be comparable sized machines to the CX2510? I saw a ytube star comparing the CX to the B2601 but the 2601 looks smaller to me.

    Looking into a CX2510

Ya I expected a 2k- 2.5k bump going to the larger machine. I can still locate the "old" series at the expected price just have to go an hour further. Agreed I'm not sure I wanna go 5k for the new look and LED lights.

    Looking into a CX2510

Yes many improvements since 1983 when I bought it new. Power steering and HST trans are great for my application, we got spoiled with the purchase of the Kubota BX23s.

    Looking into a CX2510

I drove both CX and CK at the dealer, the CK was a very nice machine! I liked the wider stance and it had a few more bells and whistles than the CX but the 5k up charge is a deal breaker and I think its bigger than I need.
