What troubles with the CS line? I would not consider Deere simply because of it not having a QASS on its front-end loader. Deere has their own front end mounting equipment; hence you have to use their Deere forks, grapple, etc.

Eddie, I use trickle chargers also. Heat is harder on batteries than mild cold weather. I also place foam insulation underneath all my batteries, and around them for shock attenuation as well as temperature stability.

Could be leaking intake valve seals.

Just keep adding oil. It depends on how possibly rusty the inner cylinder walls are. The will either polish out or continue to wear down the piston rings and continue to burn oil.

Most likely has fine rust pitting on the inside cylinder walls from sitting. It may eventually "polish" itself clean and stop smoking so much. Either pull head and inspect, or just keep putting oil in it and it may clean itself up.

You can see the O-ring squeezed out in the first photo. The fitting had been severely over tightened. I still think that regular jaw vice grips can remove them. Then new hoses need to be purchased and properly installed.

Have had non-fail success with these situations with long nose locking pliers. You had to put them on so tight you think you can't do it. Get them on very, very, tight, and then either try with your hand, or rapping them with a dead blow hammer. Be sure to get them on so if you have to rap them...
