Kubota BX clearing some heavy wet snow with FEL

:) re garage door. In general, being retired, I am usually in no rush to get the snow cleared out so probably won't bother with a snow box. I agree, no way would I be without both the FEL and the blower. Only way to go for the snow we get here. Speaking of that we had a fairly major dump...

Making magnetic mount for tractor camera

I make a lot of tractor related videos but the problem is mounting my camera(s) on the tractor. I came up with this magnetic camera mount idea that I now use to mount my GoPro cameras. The video was taken using 2 of the homemade magnetic mounts - one on the ROPS and one on the snowed-in car...

    3 mini motors project

Just posted this video on Youtube. It's a followup project on a science fair project that I did with my grandson a little while ago. Big snow falls probably finished here now but snow still too deep out back to get my BX25 through. Projects like this keep me busy in the meantime :)

    Homemade soil screener

Very insightful comments old grind! Here's a photo of the three turnbuckles (belt tensioners) that have failed. This has been the only failure on the machine so far. The second photo shows a top link, that if it were small enough, would be the ideal replacement for the turnbuckles that I have...

    Homemade soil screener

Sections of tires take the place of regular springs and hinges to suspend the screen on the main chassis. About 100 tons of material screened so far. Just posted a video on Youtube. I'm also working on a video showing more details on the build. Found an old galvanized table at scrap metal yard...

    Worried about my BX25

My BX25 has lost its "go". This is especially noticeable when in low gear. Let me explain: this was with about 90 hours or so on the machine. I was doing some work for about 2 hours or so moving muck/soil/gravel, using the bucket, from point A to B. That's when I noticed that the speed...
