You will want to make sure the frame and skirts are built to rotary mower specs so it doesn't wear out quickly. Just because it may have a stump jumper doesn't mean it won't bend or break when you hit something hidden in your pasture.

Personally, I wouldn't use a finish mower in a pasture. Damage and wear and tear will be really high if it is in fact a finish mower. That's why the 4' rotary mower (aka Bush Hog) is on my B2601 currently.
