鮮ew Yanmar from Fredericks

I use my loader more than anything else. I would'nt consider a tractor without a loader. Find the $$ and have the loader installed before you take delivery, you'll be glad that you did.

Planning to get a new Yanmar 2610D and 5 foot rotary cutter from Fredericks next month. I知 upgrading from a garden tractor.

Know I壇 like and use the FEL but will probably not get it to start with. Will probably get later. Local dealer says the price on the loader will be the same either way. Just hate to add the money for what would essentially be a useful toy at this point.

Planning to immediately get the wheel spacers from Hoye and load the tires for stability.

Any thoughts, suggestions as I move into this upgrade in tractor size/utility?

Thanks. Jbo

Do NOT procrastinate with the loader!
You will use it WAY MORE than you think.
Get it WITH the tractor!

I used a Frontier loader on a JD5103 50Hp.for Yrs. it was purchased new and the widow who owned it finally sold the Property. Thoroughly used it on many tasks. Grading is not one of the better things to use it for though. Sure they work fine for a pile of Feed ,Gravel or loose Dirt etc.. Since it was used mostly for mowing 35Acres the bucket practically stays off. Quick Connect/Disconnect and been awhile since it's been put back on that I know of. Nobody wants it on while mowing. "Fact" Esp. since you can remove it easily. In Ga. the soil is very hard and a Tooth Bar is needed. If that is the case I just save myself a lot of time ,money and rent a Bobcat. I have yet to put FEL. on my Ym2000 and owned it since 2/08. Seen quite a few on CL. Cheap!! I do use a rear scoop that works very well. Good enough that the JD. has never been on the property I live on. 10.5 Acres 5miles away LOL.. I cleared and graded it with a bobcat easily!! Saved a bunch of time and money. :2cents:

Do you live in Al. ? I bought my tractor from Fredricks and added the loader later.
The price had increased quite a bit from when I bought the tractor and when I had the loader installed.
I should have added the loader when I bought the tractor

Having said that. I was one of his Tom's first few customers. When I bought the tractor, he told me he would give me $100.00 off a loader when I was ready to buy.
Well, I returned 3 yrs later, and he still honored his $100.00 off the loader

When I purchased my tractor, all the safety equipment hadn't been developed yet. I purchased the prototype ROPS that was used in the testing for my tractor

Why do you have all this weird stuff in your posts? What the **** is this "I知". From the context I see it should be "I'm" . So how come you always end up with this weird **** in your posts??? Hahaha. Are you posting from an iPhone maybe? Cause I have posted here from at least 3 different Android phones and I can't recall ever seeing junk like that? I brought this up with someone else awhile back that kept having weird characters and I can't remember what we figured out if anything?

You must not ''know how to tie a knot" haha. Or esle you would of just slipped a clove hitch over that stump.

There is quite a bit of size difference. Here's a pic of a 2610 and a loader. I don't think that's going to happen with the Yanmar.:confused2:

Until a flood swept our Yanmar YM165D away, we got multiple use from our loader as a sort of motorized wheel barrow/ tool carrier/ and portable workbench. Plus the very best dirt road smoothing is done by back-dragging the loader bucket with the edge angled slightly down. In fact, although using the loader to move dirt and rocks and wood and brush is useful enough, but it's the other things that get the most use. Just general lifting and carrying.
None of this is a surprise to anyone who has a handy little loader. They're all saying the same thing too.
That little Yanmar and loader was simply the best tool we ever bought for country living. Everyone in the family and all the neighbors used it constantly. My back thanked me every time, too.
