Ordered the 2610 and a five foot bush hog. Just can稚 justify the cost of the loader right now. I know I壇 use it, but it値l have to wait until fall or maybe next spring.

I知 sure I値l stay posted up here. As this is my first upgrade from a garden tractor.

Loaders come up cheap and aren't all that expensive. But my yanmar is Tech a lawnmower. That's what I bought it for. And I do have a few hundred feet of crush and run that the BB. takes care of easily. Also after finding and purchasing the rear scoop I found that it does come in handy to carry things. I set it up to were I can hook and haul a wagon or a rolling gang box. Which I can lock my tools up while out. And also have the scoop itself loaded for material I maybe using. Bricks,Cinder block,Concrete etc. etc.. So it comes in a even better setup and your not stuck with it on the front. So On CL. Farm and Garden your see the scoops New for a couple hundred Winder /Auburn Ga. area. The biggest plus is You can remove it. Now I am all to familiar with a FEL. if I could/would come across one with a Quick connect/disconnect then that would be a game changer. But when I checked buying one new was a ridiculous 1000.00 dollars more than I paid for my Yanmar tractor. Which I bought from a dealer here in Atl.. So I'm with you on seeing how it goes. Also when I did buy the Yanmar I was upgrading from a Garden tractor that I was wearing out from the use. Holes in the deck besides the normal wear and tear. In a couple yrs. from buying it new......

Sorry about the wacky characters. Must be something to do with my phone. Don稚 know how to make it stop.

My garden tractor is sticking around. In fact, just got the hydraulic tiller mounted on it last week for garden prep. But it won稚 be towing my bush hog around six acres anymore. That値l save it lots of hours every year.

Carey063, where are you seeing loaders cheap on CL? Seems like most of the ones I see aren稚 far off new price. I知 in NE Ga too.

I now have two tractors. Both have loaders. I couldn't do without a loader.
Once you get one, you'll say that too !

I do have a Pic. of what scoop to look for. It's actually Reversible 3.5' wide. I found it to be extremely useful Esp. making the last grade going forward. Lift the 3Pt. and reach over and pull the rope and dump it!! Save yourself a lot of money. And I only need 1 imagine that!!! Tractor and loader on CL. Just a loader is gone quick and very rare since your basically stuck with it.

When posting on your phone do not use contractions if you have a phone that makes the apostrophe special characters. Some iPhones mess them up, some don't. We had a thread about this a while back and with several people posting and trying different things on different phones we concluded nothing. My iPhone doesn't mess the characters up.

But did any androids mess them up? I post about half the time from my Android phone and have always posted from an Android phone, three or 4 different phones all different brands. I haven't seen one that I remember do those funny characters yet?

Yes, I know that very scoop. They were real popular about 50 years ago. It is reversible and the next best thing to a real FEL. Nobody uses them much anymore and they are indestructible. With some luck you can find one cheap. My favorite was the one made with the heavy round tubing.
In fact, the problem with that type of 3 pt reversible scoop is that is just good enough that a guy can talk himself into using it instead of getting a FEL someday. And good as that scoop is, the FEL is better. I know it well because I've used both.
