1086 problem

need some advise i purchased a 1086 that has not been ran in over 6 years checked fluids and oil was full but had no hydralic fluid on dip stick i added 10gal of hytran cranked machine over and started up after 5 second of cranking put machine in reverse and tractor moved put tractor back in neutral let off clutch. put tractor back in reverse and would not move i have no steering and can hear a whining noise from the fill tube for the hydralic fluid any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Did you re-check the hydraulic fluid then? If things were pretty dry, running the engine "re-filled" the areas that would typically have oil in them just after running also. I would check the oil again and I'm willing to bet you'll have to add a few more gallons.
