I am sure he got it fixed or replaced by now..... this thread was from 16 years ago. I think your fix was easier!I just noticed i had a dent right on the bottom of my hood folded in a couple inches looked for pricing and sa the 1200 tag and grabbed a hammer and then ordered this sticker on Amazon for 3.99 tractor only has 46 hours guessing it happened while doing some grapple work this past weekend
It seems like this would be an easy job for a body shop. Also, I had a dent removed from a car door a few years ago by one of those paintless dent removal shops. They use tools to just reshape and remove the dent without affecting the paint (they work from the inside). They only charged me $60 to fix the car door dent.I like the Wiley Coyote solution. I know it is an old thread but just wondering what a body shop would charge to do a proper repair? They do that kind of stuff all of the time.
