I think 30 HP is a little big for what I want/need
We were not too far off on price, I came up a little but he wouldn't budge.. maybe in a few weeks one of us will budge a bit. I probably would have split the original difference but it does not seem like he is in a hurry. Hardest part I had was pricing out what I thought would be a downside of the 2pt yanmar tiller which is not as easy to switch out along with the lack of ROPS. Maybe I was a bit low, maybe not Used tractors are not the most liquid market around here.

That 2-point proprietary tiller will be a PIA for anyone who wants to use alternate implements on that tractor so I think its reasonable the tiller is near valueless for pricing the combined rig.

I think you're in the upper half of reasonable, he is dreaming if he expects to get more from someone else. Wait him out, maybe a better deal will appear before he budges.

Think he's dreaming. Local CL. 1802D 6500.00 complete with bent exhaust. Fredricks refurbished 1802D 6299.00. with a 1yr. Warranty. :laughing:

One more question about a 1510D
When shifting from 4wd to 2wd do you use the clutch? Or just move the lever? Just a thought I had when looking at this one and trying to figure out if the 4wd worked.
From memory, the 4wd lever moved without using the clutch, could be wrong, it was a few weeks ago

Or maybe the proper question should be How would I test to make sure the 4wd works? And maybe I had the clutch in... probably

4 wheel drive should be shifted into when the tractor is stopped. Might have to move gently back and forward to align gears in drop box.

Push or pull against an immovable object to spin front wheels would be the best way to test it.
