I have 1529 Synchro-Shuttle, and it has a little foot pedal that I have to use my right heel for. Since I can't do that and work the foot throttle at the same time, I use the hand throttle just to get me out of the hard spot. The diff lock is only a temporary thing on my tractor and comes out when I take my foot off the pedal.
