New user here, I have the 1533 and have 140 hours on the little beast. I just had the check engine light come on and I think the problem is the fuel filter. Is there a way to have a diagnostics run on the tractor??
I just sat down with my owners manual AND the service manual in preparation for the "50 Hour Service", and noticed some conflicts.
In the OM it says to replace the transmission fluid at 100 hrs for the first time, but the hydraulic filter at 50 hours. That is the maintenance schedule on page 86. Back on page 84 there is a specific 50 hr list saying the same, check the fluid and change the filter.
In the SM on the maintenance list is says first time 100 hours for both filter and fluid.
What do you guys think? I don't mind replacing just the filter, but it is located low in the system. I haven't look closely at it, but my first thought is there will be a deluge of hydraulic fluid coming at me.
Thoughts?
