I wish I had your answer but all I have is my advise and my experience on "used" parts like this hasn't been good. I would stop at a reputable diesel pump shop with pictures and as much info on the pump as possible and talk to them. I don't understand why more diesel guys on here aren't chiming in to help! I wish you luck and please keep is posted.
I would also ask the shop if there are any tricks to pull the pump as to make the installation easy for the timing and such. Good luck.

I went back and looked at the 1st post by the OP. There is a picture of an I&T manual there. Therefore I'm assuming that he has one. All the information he needs to remove the injection pump will be in there.

Removal and installation shouldn't be an issue, like you said because of the manual. It just drops down into the block. I will post a pic or two when I remove it.

This afternoon I will ship it to TN and have him rebuild it rather than sourcing a used one. Like my uncle said, I already have a used pump...

As far as the engine running away, is it possible it did that on 2 cylinders? I've learned out of adjustment valves or a bad injection pump can cause that condition, but haven't grasped what a non fueled cylinder would mean to the situation. Thanks for your time.

I listened to your video and to me it didn't sound that bad. Things always sound worse when you are right there. The person rebuilding your pump should be able to confirm if the governor mechanism is still functioning as it should.

hopefully the pump will fix it. some odd things going on to me, and the pump is really the most complicated thing in the whole engine. My AC just has a lever to pull for fuel or no fuel. the key just just turns over the starter and puts power to the gauges. it will run / work with the key in any position after its running. only way to shut it off is to pull the fuel lever. correct operation according to the instructions on the dash.

I have an operators manual on the way to shed some light on controlling this tractor.

Pump is out. Noticed something that I am not sure should happen. The valve that is not working is on the left.

Pump is back in. The K3E runs and sounds great.

But wait, what the crap is that?

International Cappuccino 254 - YouTube

Hydraulic cappuccino? For the record, the fill cap was on cockeyed so maybe air into the system? The rear hitch raised and lowered barely, front loader did not budge. Thoughts?

The tinkering continues. What a headache haha.

That hydraulic fluid looks pretty white. That means it has water in it. You'll probably need to flush the whole system several times to get all the contamination out. I would guess that the bubbling out through the fill tube is air. Generally look for leak on the suction side.

Well I got it wired up, and put back together. She runs. FEL works as should. Just need to top off hydraulic fluid, flush out radiator and a couple other small things but it痴 working.
