3-Point Hitch 1990s 18HP Mitsubishi - Normal 3 point or something else?

A neighbor has offered to sell me a small Mitsubishi gray market tractor that has been sitting in his barn for years. It isn't exactly what I need, but the price is right and it would get me some experience. I may be jumping the gun posting because I don't have a picture or model number. I went to look at it and it has a factory tiller on it. The hookup doesn't look like a normal 3 point hitch to me though. The arms are very short and connect fairly high on the tiller. Were some of these models sold without a normal 3 point and, if so, can they be converted?

All small tractors I've seen have the capability of being a category 0 or 1 3-point but some of the tillers and possibly other implements can use a custom connection. Iseki and Satoh/Mitsubishi both did this and I'm sure others have as well. You might needs to buy the arms, etc. to get to a standard connection but the tractor should be set up to allow this.

Category I is the "standard" Three Point Hitch.

There also exist Category I/Limited and Category 0 Three Point Hitches.

Not all Category I implements will fit a Category I/Limited hitch properly. Plows and Cultivators being examples of implements which often do not fit.

Category 0 hitch uses smaller hardware and have a limited selection of implements in the USA. The light weight of Category 0 equipped tractors limits their usefulness. Roto-tilling should be OK but slow.
