1996 Kubota L3600 - Good Deal or Watch Out?

So these are the pics I was given. I assumed due to the rusty bucket and rust under the seat that maybe it had been stored outside. Also, look at the back of the seat...maybe I'm nit-picking? What do you guys think?

I would definitely pay $11,500 for that tractor!
Tell me where it is.....I'll hook up my trailer and be on my way.

It's just ok and I'd be prepared to sink some bucks in it. It will need a new clutch pretty soon. That involves a split. Been run pretty hard and put away wet a few times but Kubota's are pretty stout. Tires are acceptable, not great but acceptable. I'd be asking about the service intervals if anything else.

To give you a benchmark, last spring I bought a used M9000 open station, hydraulic shuttle (no clutch) with a Kubota quick attach bucket plate and 2 buckets for 18 grand. That is a 85 pto tractor. I've since put about another 4 grand in it, lots of stuff because stuff wears out, it's a 2002 model. Just had the dealer run the overhead, new front crank seal and dyno and it's making 96 pto. Paint was faded worse than yours (Kubota orange likes to fade to Mary Kay pink pretty fast) so it got a complete strip to running gear and repaint too. This one has twice the meter hours the one you are looking at has but Kubota engines, even with marginal upkeep will go 6000 hours plus.

1300 hours...."it will need a new clutch pretty soon".

That is only a maybe!
I split my Ford 1920 at 1100 hours for a clutch, because I had it mostly apart for a complete refurbish anyway.
Clutch was in excellent condition.
No need to replace, but I did, because I already had the new one.

The other important underlying factor that people discount is, any tractor today, over 25 horsepower (I think 25) will be Tier 4 final compliant or basically loaded with emissions junk and that is a Tier 2 engine, IOW, no emissions junk at all. As they years progress, Tier 2 tractors will increase in value just because of the emissions junk and the issues.

The guy said it was GST.
No worries about a bucket as rusty as that one? Or the chips on the loader arm, cause maybe he/she knocked it against something?

Yes.
I'm at 2267 hours and haven't needed the first clutch adjustment yet.
I'm hoping/expecting several thousand + hours from my clutch.

So working with the front end loader is going to be a pain?
