I was looking for a smaller tractor too, 15 years ago... But couldn't imagine not having my L5450. Always answers the bell... Good Luck..

Exactly - The L5450 is a tractor everybody discovers they'd like to have. Just plain capable - with no down side. I recommend having lesser ones too.

Wonder if Hayes Creek bought his L5450 it yet.....

Question are gears 1-4 synchronized shifts on the L5450?
To be honest, I have never tried. I am always going slow enough that when I change the 1-4 gears I come to a stop. The fwd/rev is clutchless of course.

Thanks

it’s nice went mowing to be able to downshift without grinding gears and not having to stop.

My current IH 424 is not synchronized, so stopping is a requirement.

Tractors are directly related to something all males have, so bigger is always better. Least that is what the gals say. In my case the train left the station before I got on... :p
